Yeah tohtally agree.... one thing which is necessary (need not be sufficient though) is the top order ( interchangeable with openers) firing. Last year the successful teams were
Rajasthan Royals- openers Smith and Asnodkar made gave good starts continuously.
Delhi Daredevils- Sehwag and Gambhir (and i rest my case here

).
Kings XI - Shaun Marsh was the find of the tournament
Chennai Super Kings - had Hayden (Raina and Hussey) at the top initially and chennai got off to 4 of 4 wins start
and if the team management tries to get smart and play Praveen Kumar as an opener it is gonna backfire ( and mind u kumar hit some huge sixes yesterday against the chargers at the death).. y tinker with a winning formula..So for the BRC it is imperative that Ryder and uthappa should open and score....
