I agree with you. If you go by the team composition, MI stand a very good chance. This is the team who has actually utilized the transfer window & second auction intelligently.
The biggest advantage that MI have besides the right combination for playing XI is their support staff. This year they have Shaun Pollock as their mentor and Jonty Rhodes as the coaching staff. Their experience and inputs about the conditions there in South Africa would be invaluable.
There was discussion some time back on how would Indian players perform in this edition of IPL. Everyone agreed that they would find it difficult to adjust if not struggle. So the team that has the better South African players would win the title. If you go by that theory RR and RCB have an advantage. But that may not be necessarily true.
I do not have any favorites as such. All I want is a god game of cricket and a deserving winner.
