I am not sure whether its creative or not, but this time we celebrated the b'day of my roomie in a very different manner.



As all engineering students and passouts must be knowing, that in engg. colleges there is a culture of b'day bashes in the mid-night, and in my college the more you are famous, more you get beaten.

Now on the night of my roomie's b'day all of us showed as if we are busy, and he was getting nervous. Here is the conversation that took place between us.

He: yaar tum log kuch kar kyon nahi rahe ho, kuch jyada gadbad karne ka plan to nahi hai naa ??

Me: what for ? aaj kuch special hai kya ??

He: Abe majak mat karo.

Me: Abe dekho faltu pareshan mat karo, kuch khaas baat hai to batao otherwise I am pretty busy.

He: Yaar aaj mera b'day hai, aur koi abhi tak aaya kyon nahi hai, tum log kuch jyada to plan nahi kar rahe ho??

Me: Nautanki mat karo, tumhara b'day to kal hai, hum logon ko bewkoof samgha hai. (calling other friends ) : yaar jalan bol raha hai uska b'day aaj hai.

Everyone; kya hua bhai, jaldi maar khane ki padi hai kya ? tumhara b'day to kal hai naa.....

He: Nahi yaar aaj hi hai. (everybody goes out again) everyone: bewkoof banane ki koshish kar raha hai be..

He: abe tum log sahi mein kuch nahi karoge kya?? dusre floor se bhi koi nahi aaya, aaj lagta hai kuch maar waar nahi padegi (ever-one was hiding in nearby rooms).

Me: tum maar khana chahte ho kya ???

He: abe isse to acchha tha maar hi kha leta, kam se kam is tarah poori raat dar ke to nahi gujarni padti....

Me: Suno suno .. ganw walon (read hostel walon) bakra kah raha hai, mughe koi kaat kyon nahi raha ..... :P

And then the bashing starts .............. after that a few bottles of coke are opened (couldn't afford champagne :( ) and the party continues.....

nething given with lotsa love suffices here..
i gave a nice greeting card with a few lines written by me(yes. i do write..) to my dad on his last year..

for friends...
nothing better than a booze.. .. maybe some fine whiskey... khushi se paagal ho jayenge dost logan...

for gf..
i gave her an IPOD SHUFFLE with lots of romantic songs uploaded in it..
she just loved it...
so nething remotely romantic is cool...

Would want to be the Sports Minister of the Country definitely.Football.Dying in the country.Better training facilities,more subsidies for setting up academies,scholarships and a much better League.

I would like to be the president of the Nobel foundation, though I am sure political forces play a much greater role in deciding Nobel prizes than this foundation (No offences).

Just because I would like people to have more faith on them, the most well known awards of the world must be given more transparently and honestly.

i GUess all u guys will take care of the necessary commitees..so i can sighfully take care of some other commitees ..

- Anti anti-ragging commitee ka chief strategist ( it was so lite and so much fun in du, nw dey hav banned it)

- Delhi ki " yaha @#%^$%^ karna mana hai" ke ulanghan karne walo ko peeche se laat marne wali commitee ka " centre forward"


- Moral policing k naam pe atyachaar failane wale paapio ko ghar me ghus k peetne wali commitee.

I personally am not inclined to do much head scratching to give a bday gift to someone close to me.

I am aware of their likes/fetishes. I go for something very simple and very basic and which would last and remind him/ her of me often.

Overall it must be such that I fell satisfied giving it and the reciever is also happy recieving it.

I would like to be the President of India.

I would do my every bit to bang this thing into the head of parliamentarians that they are supposed to form and implement well thought policies. That the MPLAD funds belong to citizens and not part of their salary. That it is we who elect them and not they who run our lives.
etc, etc.

I would set an example as to how a titular head can change the course of the national politics and thought process.
