Portugal are the Home Team, but the pressure could actually work against them.

As for England, would say they scraped through in Quarters, and except for Rooney no-one has fired. Beckham has been a busy bee with lotsa ladies and bending it off the pitch and not on the pitch.

English Goal keeping is lot better after david Seaman's exit. Portugal has a better midfield in this championship.

England may scrape through, but my bet is portugal.

Weel, last night's match was a toughie... seemed to exemplify - an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth... n history kinda repeated itself as the English were once again found wanting in the penalty phase... wot with Becks failing on the first shot... well, can happen to anybody... m still not able to digest Roberto Baggio's penalty kick in WC 1994 finals... in fact, Becks' was pretty similar...

France shud emerge winners tonight... but i get the feeling, the Greeks will put up a fight... they hv entered the last 8 first time ever... me not xpecting a cakewalk for the French...

england doesnt deserve to win...this is the second time so called " great" Beckham missed a shot.....when u miss such chances ...u dont deserve to win....

portugal is neday better than England.....

wow........what a match...................sad to see english out............. but portugal played well............. it was a gr8 match.............. both teams teams didnt wanted to losse............ if beckham would have scored that penalty then............. but then again Rui Costa could also got it in ............ anyway it was a fabulous match......... and in the end one team has to win............... i guess france will have a tough match on their hand today.............. anything could happen here...............

u judge a team based on 1 player ... so what if he missed ... hes the same guy who scored by the free kick to get england in the WC against greece , remember.. no one is to be blamed for england loss ... it just came down to penalties and it could have gone either way ...

PS : France next today ... surely they should win
