hi,

i am taking these lessons at YMCA, close to CP...good teacher...once a week....3month course - 2,000/-

they start new batches at the beginning of every month.

u gotta buy a guitar though unlike some of these places where they give u one.

A good one can be bought for 1500 to say the least.

I would recommend the Bhargavs at Dariya Ganj. He has it all, Good, bad, ugly, cheap, costly and the guy there would help you choose best for you. He is not like regular shop keepers trying to sell you stuff.

And yes you can play ANY song in three months provided you have talents for it !

Well learning to play THE GUITAR has been a long long wish for me.... but i simply dont wanna buy one b4 learning it,as i did it with the keyboard ad well had a real bad experience!!!

So in South Delhi, does neone kow good cheap Guitar teacher?

Thanks, will check out the place if I go to Delhi in the near future. 1500 for new or 2nd hand ? I thot a good guitar might cost more than 3k.

starting prices --- acoustic ( good ones ) 2500 and upwards

well anil bhai , in 3 months , you will be still wondering For Whom the Bell Tolls ... takes a hell lot of time and hell lot of practice man ... if u r seriously planning , everyday half to 1 hr on the thing can get u places in 6 months to 1 year ...

every1...
i will update dis thread (most prob) on saturday
after talkin to one guy....whom i know teaches Guitar, Synth and Drums.........and is real gud....
plays in Nakshatra.....the band rocked at GIR this
year......
great dedicated teacher.....prices are low....
just PM me wich area of del u live......
den i can find out if he has ne classes there
or u mite have to reach someplace.......

plus guys n gals......guitar no1 can teach u in 3 months
atleast give it a dedicated 1 year.....
dis is where i failed to continue.....
its a lovely instrument......
plus buy it coz u will have to practice at home also.....
