Hmm...here's my choice

James La Brie (Dreamtheater)
Geoff Tate (Queensryche)

These two guys can hit high notes like no other.
And..

Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam)
David Gilmour (Pink Floyd)

Their voice has a soul of its own!

P.S : Those who havent heard Queensryche's cover of Scarborough Fair...plz do so!

I totally agree.. I also like the lead singer from Audio slave, though I can't remember his name for all my life.. Aerosmith is a definite favourite..

Amng Indians.. Hariharan, KK and Palash Sen.. Geez, I LOVE palash Sens voice *swoon*

And DJK, Palash Polly Sen is also good. Caught up with Euphoria at IIT Madras a coupla years back

In hindi playback there are always the great's like Kishore, Rafi,Hemant Kumar and I absoluetly adore their singing. However , I feel that Amit Kumar(son of Kishore da) is a brilliant singer too. Really unfortunate that he didnt really do as well as he deserved, but some of songs in the movies from 80's , especially under RD Burmans music direction are superb !
Amongst western singers, I really like Bob Dylan and Bono(from U2). They really have brilliant voices!

Amongst the newer lot, I am a total fan of Sanu, KK and of late Kunal Ganjawala(Sang O humdum from Saathiya.....and Bheege Hoth Tere from murder).
