This is how the whole thing began.

And we felt, why not continue it on the forum? But what with Mahip's 2nd year, and my first job post MBA, I guess we forgot it all...

But then, here comes the PG Anniversary! PG turns 6!!

And how can we celebrate this event and not commemorate it with a quiz about the forum itself??

So, here goes.

I shall ask questions about the forum. Over the next few days, I will ask, and you will answer.

And after the celebrations end, or my questions run out, you can start the usual trivia set: Each of you asks a question - someone answers it. The person who is the first to answer correctly gets the right to ask the next question. Remember this: Trivia questions about PG and PG only, and nothing else.

Depending on my mood swings and the availability of questions in our database, you will get a set of questions daily. Answer them, and if PGHQ feels magnanimous, you shall stand to win a prize.

The first set of 15 questions comes in my next post. You have 48 hours to answer the questions.

First 15 Questions:

1. Which of our mods has been a finalist at the Tata Crucibles 2006 quiz?
2. One of our oldest members, his old ID (back when PG IDs could be changed) was Ghulam. He has over 2000 posts, but has never groaned at anyone. Who?
3. Had this domain name been available, we would not have had PaGaLGuY.com as our meeting point. What was the domain name that PG wanted?

5. While registering on the forum, you have to enter your email address. This particular note is displayed there: “Please enter a valid email address for yourself except a ______ address. Due to technical difficulties, we are not accepting registrations with _______ addresses as of now.” Which email address account has the technical difficulty? I'm not sure whether this particular glitch still remains or has been addressed.
6. PG became famous after the infamous CAT 2004 Results leak. Who started this notorious thread?
7. We calculate the fame of a person on PG through the number of thanks and groans he or she has got. Long before this was implemented, how were such brownie points calculated?
8. PG is now blocked by many corporate firewalls. One member, CATMANIAC, was the first to complain about this. Which company did CATMANIAC work for?
9. One of the earliest mods on PG, Barkha, has left the forum. Certain posts of hers still remain, though they don’t have her ID. What ID do these posts have?
10. Which was the first Bschool fest that PG partnered?

12. The fact that mods and admin are not above rules themselves has been proven twice. One moderator and one admin were once banned temporarily. Name these two, and the reasons for the same.

14.
