I can not imagine the mods of this wonderful forum, not locking a thread meant for advertising/spamming. Before you can even type google in your address bar (of course, having it on speed dials is a different story altogether ) to know what yours_till_eternity was trying to say.. *TUCK* (that's the best lock sound I could come up with.. oh ! wait.. I could have typed click )

But, not so long ago, a certain thread, started with the sole purpose of promoting some product, had a post by a mod. In this post, he (used loosely) declined to close this thread. He said, he didn't have the heart to do it.

Who is the mod in question and which thread am I talking about ?

A give away (it's not just a hint) :- The product has something to do with an area in Andhra Pradesh.
