Ok i'll go over the basic rules

- You build a squad of 15 for 100 million from which you pick your 11 using the choice of formations.

- You get one transfer per week with additional weekly transfers available for the cost of 4 points off your total.

You also have one opportunity to play a “wildcard” and make unlimited transfers for one entire gameweek for no point cost.

- You can tinker with your lineup each week but, in your absence, the game will auto adjust your lineup and formation to maximize the number of players that appear for you each gameweek.

Scoring

Quite rudimentary really, what?

PSL Tips Part 1

Goalkeepers

Goalkeepers are quite often the most ignored players in Fantasy football. Now I don't have ant stats on me, but if I did have some stats on me, they would have proved that Goalkeepers are the least Tranfered players in a team. You chose them and generally stick with 'em.. Unless ofcourse there's a long term injury.

And thats quite a sensible thing to do, if you ask me. Afterall you only have one free transfer every week (additional transfers cost 4 points), why not use them on a Ronaldo or a Gerrard? Quite frankly, goalkeepers are as good as the overall defence. So a Reina or a Van Der Sar might get you a clean sheet.. without even touching the ball.

So here are some options you might look at:-

High Budget - Price = 6+

1. Reina - Liverpool
2. James - Portsmouth
(worth 6 mil each)

Mid Budget - Price = 5-6

1. Friedel (5.5) - Blackburn
2. Howard (5.5) - Everton

Cheap

1. Jaaskelainen (4.5) - Bolton
2. Schwarzer (4) - Fulham

People usually follow 3 common startegies while choosing Goalkeepers:-

1. Pick one Good Keeper (and a really cheap keeper), and forget about it.
A very common ploy. Chose a Reina and a Schwarzer. Play Reina in all the matches (unless Fulham plays one of the Newbies), and concentrate on the other players.

2. Pick two Mid-Priced Goalkeeper
This is the one I usually follow. Two decent goalkeeper ( with Howard as one of them) and rotate them depending on who has a home/easy game.

3. Buy Cheaps.. Spend on Strikers.
Simple, buy 2 cheap goalies.. strenghten your midfield and attack. Rotate the 2 goalies...

Cheers

There can be multiple versions of the Fantasy league
As u stated, ESPN, Liverpool and some other sites may also have their own fantasy league
the fantasy league which we are going to be a part of is the from the Official site of the Premier League. There is no difference as such among the different Fantasy leagues. Every site wants to cash in on the popularity of the Premier league.
Every website wants people to sign in on their Fantasy league version for the obvious benefits involved. Its just a marketing strategy.

During IPL also, there were quite a few versions of the IPL Fantasy league.
