Re: Serial blasts in Ahmedabad and Bangalore -

Well, the situation seems much more worse than it seemed at first to me..
The blasts started with the walled city areas, and are now in the posh areas as well.
But that doesn't really matter. What matters is that they had planned on covering the entire state. Got to know this through some of my friends, people were being called to donate blood, and when there were sufficient people, the blasts occurred at Hospitals, targeting those who came to help the victims and donate blood. That is really some smart thinking on the part of the terrorists.
Well, the one thing to note here is that these terrorists have now become more cunning in their approach. Which clearly indicates that the present approach taken by the intelligence and the security agencies needs a lot of improvement. But with a billion strong population, this would need not just better technology and more equipped personnel, but also AWARENESS on part of the people.
It is truly not possible to keep a vigil on the movements of more than a billion people. And yes, the cops and the agencies are not to be blamed for this. It takes a lot of courage to go to the blast site just minutes after the blast and control a mob of people ready to go violent, and at the same time take people to the hospitals.
Stricter laws (the likes of POTA which were annulled by the UPA as soon as it came to power), awareness, and yes we can PRAY!!
