BIM25 Bulk Laptop Deal

Hey BIMites!!! (Feels great to be associated with this word, aint it? )

Now that all our aspirations are on the verge of being materialized..... All plans set..... Everyone ready to barge in like a battering ram to occupy the most favorable room , It's high time to discuss about all our essentials there at BIM for the next two years.

Though this thread is essentially created to decide on our Laptop needs (especially the poll above), other discussions of material things needed would also be entertained.

In a nutshell, I request all the BIM25 junta to post here overwhelmingly and all our seniors to help us materialize our plan.

I guess you can continue in the existing BIM threads for the same or may be in the HP/DELL etc bulk deal threads. I don't see a need for a separate bulk deal thread for a college here.

Hey Moderators, thanks for your interest to direct us the right way. But as you can see, there are a few reasons that we need to have a separate thread for, to name a few:

1. We require a poll to have the headcount for which we can have a bulk deal, other threads are already occupied with polls which are still active.
2. As the location is totally different from other B-schools, there are separate issues like no. of service centres, etc. to discuss and updated upon.
3. It's essentially for a Laptop deal but can also be looked upon as a separate thread for BIM25 junta i.e. the 2008-10 batch, for which there is no other dedicated thread.

Any suggession from your side is heartily welcome

I agree with all Ankit has said....we guys at BIM have only one thread....you can lock the BIM Admissions n queries, and BIM Placements thread..no one is using those threads as of now..!!!

I don't have any such rigid preference for a brand or a model but would like to have optimum configurations in my Notebook. Neither a high-end robotic types, nor just what is required types. But just optimum, do let me know if any details needed.
