Lehmann over Hildebrand!! Maybe Low was feeling low when he selected Lehmann. No offence to Arsenal fans, but there's a cribber if I saw one. The pic in the paper today after he conceded a goal against Belarus says it all.
And like Himanshu said, lots of 'Not my fault' will follow. Germany need to be wary of that.

Well Since 1998 was a die hard fan of the Azzurri.....The Divine ponytail,Del Piero,Paolo Maldini.....Just played football watching them...Dreaming trying to play like them.....

Forza Azzurri......
Well De rossi has got the no 10...Hopes he proves he's worth it......
Its last time for Del Piero to prove why he is the best!
Cassano...The man after Totti.....
Canna's last stint + Barzagli may have to fill in Nesta's boots
So its them all the way for me....

Well I havent been a great English Fan all the time but with all the English fans celebrating an All English final..I would say Kudos but then you had to take an Italian coach to get back from square 1.....

Well as I earlier thought Domenech would not include Trez and Mexes(cuz he is a fool)that means Gallas + Thuram in the centre defense and Thuram aint getting any younger after a horrid season at barca
Well my other bets are on Dutch but who knows how the two Van's get together - Van Basten and Van Nisterlooy....
and the other fav - Portugal.....Deco + Ronaldo + Maniche with carvalho and Pepe in top form........

Still.....Itz Azzurri all the way.....

FoRzA aZzuRrI....
CAMPIONI DEL MONDO.....

I wouldnt recommend EA to anyone. Too many flaws in the game (notably the offside rule)

If its anything like Fifa 08 ...

Cheers.

But still, I am not sure if there is any better option....

Also they are ever improving (The introduction of you playing as a single player as a part of the team in Fifa 08 is simply superb). ..And Fifa WC 06 game was nice. I am just talking about the atmosphere and the look and feel.

Yes, offside rules and even some of the fouls given are bit of a problem. But they generally work in your favor

The feel and the Graphics may be better with the EA Games but thats the only advantage.. for excellent gameplay one must play WINNING 11...

It's a marathon, not a sprint. Unless you're Man Utd, in which case you let the other teams get ahead and then start sprinting as they all fall apart.

Maniche is not in the squad. Most likely Moutinho will partner Deco with Quaresma and Ronaldo out on the wings. But they may employ a single striker which could also make room for Veloso or Meireles.

excuse my ignorance , but will any laptop supprt fifa 08.

i mean , do we need to look for some high funda machine which might ensure smooth play of fifa or will any laptop suffice?

seeking clarifications!

ps - i know what i'm going to do in my free time!

Re: UEFA Euro 2008 discussions - 30-05-2008, 11:10 AM

I love the commentary in the FIFA 08 game. Sample this:

"On paper, they're the stronger side....but then, games are not played on paper."

"Anfield has been here since 1884, Andy Gray not quite that long...."

"They say you have to be a bit crazy to be a goalkeeper"

One of the major bugs I found was that when you're shooting at goal, and you miss, sometimes the commentators credit the goalie for making a save, even when he was nowhere nearby.

The offside rule never seems to work in my favour. And fouls are generally corrrectly called, though the bookings seem quite inconsistent. (I still think the bookings are more accurate than those of the FA referees in the league. )

Overall, I think the game is stupendous. And for those who feel differently, try playing EA Cricket 2007, and feel the difference.
