I am a hardcore ManUTD fan. I don't know why but, all the ManUTD fans that I have come across, generally all are England Fans.
I am no different. But courtesy Mr Steve Mclaren, the best of Europe will be resting there heals when the rest of Europe will be fighting for glory.
In England's absence i will be cheering for The Netherlands. Agreed theirs is the toughest group in the competition. But I see them getting through the group along with France.
I have got a new hobby..PGing

  Manchester United > England
Im an Argentina fan.... despite being a United fans that is... Also, i hate England.. All Pansy Boys...
It's a marathon, not a sprint. Unless you're Man Utd, in which case you let the other teams get ahead and then start sprinting as they all fall apart.

First of all I am hugely excited - big competitions like the Euro Championship and the WC every 4 years - something all of us look forward to !
Here are my predictions :
Teams to qualify for the knockout stages from each group :
Group A: • Czech Republic • Portugal
Group B: • Germany • Croatia
Group C: • Italy • France
Group D: • Russia • Spain
Semis : Germany , Italy , Spain , Portugal
Winners : Germany
I will come up with the reasons and analysis later

@ Rushi: Mate, you have got it all wrong, as Polpot have pointed out, Generally United fans hate England, that's why no one objects when Tevez wears the national flag when United won the EPL and UCL.
I still dont hate them, but I am not a fan either.
@ Polpot: You have already echoed the sentiments below..
MANCHESTER UNITED >>>>>>> england
England who?
@ coolroy: Moi not supporting any team as well... Hehehe... United fans think alike
Ciao..

I am sticking to my old loyalties..Team Holland.
Hope they kick out Portugal at some stage.Still haven't overcome the depression that 0-1 loss brought.

that was the greatest wrestling match the world ever saw
i would like to see a spain - portugal face off in the business end of the competition , preferably the SF.
one screw up during the game between the 2 teams with ronaldo being in the midst of it all , and madrid will never bother CR7 again

France announce Euro 2008 Squad
http://www.goal.com/en-india/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=714252
There are many shocking exclusions from the squad.
1. Philippe Mexes who has been established himself as one of the best centre backs in the Seria A has been ommited in place of the once brilliant Thuram, who is well past his prime.
2.David Trezeguet the Seria A's secong top scorer with 20 goals had not been considered at all.Unbelievably Anelka has been picked.
3. Another major shock has been the exclusion of Flamini while Clichy and Sagna have not been considered at all.

Domenech is an unpredictable person. He did this at the last world cup too. But this time i hope it comes and bites his a** off. Flamini xclusion is still okay but MEXES?? ?? Atleast Squillaci is there... Apart from that its a really really strong outfit...

Shocking decisions to say the least. Picking Thuram will definitely hurt France. Anelka might still be OK, as Trezeguet hasn't really been that shining light at country level.
No Clichy, no Sagna. One of Evra or Clichy had to sit out. Tough call. So, it's OK.
Flamini excluded. Who'll they play? Vieira I suppose. But then, picking Maka to sit on the bench, could have picked Flamini as well, who is definitely better than Maka right now.
My XI
Frey
Evra-Gallas-Squillaci-Sagnol
Vieira
Malouda-Nasri-Ribery
Henry-Anelka/Gomis
