Sure sure!! Here are the requirements for FIFA 08:
Platforms: Windows XP, 2000 or Vista.
CPU for XP/2000: Pentium 4 (1,3Ghz) or equivalent.
Memory requirements for XP/2000: 256Mb RAM
CPU for Vista: Pentium 4 (1,5Ghz) or equivalent.
Memory requirements for Vista: 512Mb RAM
Free Disk Space required: 3,92GB
Graphic card with 64MB ram as minimum (*)
DVD Drive 8x as minimum.
Direct-x 9 or higher installed.
So, even if you don't have a high-end machine, it'll do. And if you install a software called Hamachi, you can even play FIFA over a network. It is fun!!

Wrong Forum modji .. Euro thread hai yeh....
Mancini was going to leave we knew that. He was waiting to be sacked as his compensation package gan be delivered to him.
I think he warming upto the Chelsea job but i dont think he will be the right selection.
Lets all the Clubs nail their managers coffins. SAF will always be SAF and is untouchable!!!!!!!
It's a marathon, not a sprint. Unless you're Man Utd, in which case you let the other teams get ahead and then start sprinting as they all fall apart.

the one that I like the most is when you miss a sitter, they say in a very angry tone "you cannot cannot miss chances like these"
One of the major bugs I found was that when you're shooting at goal, and you miss, sometimes the commentators credit the goalie for making a save, even when he was nowhere nearby.

what I meant here is that you are wrongly caught offside, but even the opposition are wrongly caught offside. I my case, I don't defend very well when I am playing, so this bug is a blessing in disguise for me. Because when I falter with moves of my defenders, many a times, opposition strikers are wrongly caught offside .
The biggest improvement of this game is that in earlier versions like 05, 06 scoring goals was really easy. You just need to run thru the centre and no defender will catch you. But now its really interesting and you need to really plan your moves...

Oh yes! I can almost see the commentators making this gesture

With me, the opposite happens....very close offside decisions always go against me, and even blatant offsides result in the opposition scoring. I generally keep most of my folks upfield, and my LBs are generally on the wings, trying to push forward. So, my defence is always a bit suspect, and I inevitably end up a goal or two down, and trying to come back...but that's fun!

True! And I love the free-kicks and corners. In fact, my conversion ratio for set-pieces is the highest for 08, as compared to earlier versions. Gerrard
P.S. Folks, I hope discussing FIFA 08 doesn't count as spam.

I still don't know how to score with a free kick ...... In fact now I have stopeed taking a shot out of a free kick. I always try to be smart with my moves there, but rarely do I succeed.
Yeah, corners and crosses, I think I am good at...But free kicks, I hate to get a free kick in FIFA as much as I love to see Beckhem get a free kick.....(Bhavnao ko samjo)

LEt's keep this for the real football lest the newbies get bored!!
P.S.: And a few oldies like Graeme Murty too

Lehmann and van der Saar seem to have some issues with the balls being used in the Euro tournament. According to them, the goalkeepers' task is not easy, because the balls 'float' and are not easy to catch. Read more here.

A small Quiz Q -
Which football club is likely to earn the most from the Euro?
FYI, for each day spent by a player in the tournament, his club receives a compensation amount from UEFA.

Panathinaikos? I read it has the maximum representation with Lyon
