As we near the end of another rocking season, I feel its time to reflect on all that
we did this season. The new friends we made. The passions we shared.
The discussions/fights we had. The support that was lended to someone who was down.
The criticism of someone not doing well etc etc..
In the process we got to know so many fellow puys quite well.
Let this be a common repository for all our feelings.. the praises, the brickbats
anything we want to write about each other.

I'd love to write loads of testimonials to many rocking puys but the fear of missing out some valuable contributors makes me desist. I've been (hyper)active for only a comparatively short duration on this great community, but I've gained a lot. I have got to hear some wonderful opinions, made some good friends, and got lots of valuable information.
In particular, I'd like to thank Tanveer sir for introducing me to this community.
I wish everyone luck and happiness, and fulfillment of all their dreams!
listing only a select few. (the list can go on and on).
there have been many others who've made this place special. special in their own unique way. i've got nothing but respect for all those with whom i've interacted over the months.
here i am , writing a testimonial for 2 puys i've known for sometime now.
coolroy
(soumitra = football punter = hargo = god)
He doesnt require my testimonial for illustrating what he possesses , and its not sufficient too!!
known him for sometime now.
one great guy (he's the IBM dude after all) .a devil to the core. my sms source whenever i miss any match. (blame the interviews for that). had the honour of meeting him when he came down for TAPMI.
His simplicity is something which u will notice at first (i still cant figure out whether he is more "intelligent" or more "decent"!!)
a guy with absolutely no airs about himself. although that 'airs' vanish in thin air when he gets into scousebusting mode.
was so happy when i came to know that he made it to IMI. i'm very sure that his dedication will lead him to great things in the future
great respect for u buddy , wishing u a lifetime of happiness and prosperity!!!! god bless
egonomist
a millionaire who's been in his family business for a couple of years now. had the impression of him being a gentle guy (dont ask me why). the impression changed when i met him in person in udupi.
there was this 'raste wala dada' all ready to knock you off your fk'in perch .
but chill he was , and the discussions that followed were one of the most memorable.
we had a great time , right from discussing his interview experiences to voicing our opinions about ashley cole's wag .
one hellava fellow.a guy who socializes really well.
here's wishing you all the very best in your life.

This was my first season on PG. Got immense help from this forum. Got to know things which I was not even close to being aware of. Met a lot of puys, some was off decency and some, too decent for my liking.
Among the few ones to my liking are :
The Egonomist :
Met this guy on my trip to Manipal. At first sight, he would seem to be the 'mohalle ka gunda' sent to smack you left, right and centre. Add to that, I am not exactly a 6 footer.
But thats only as far as his physique will tell you. When you actually get down to talk to him, he'd seem to to be a very chilled out personality, who loves to mingle with people and interact. He has this ability to make friends pretty fast. Somehow, he manages to talk to seniors wherever he has attended his GD/PIs. A Chelsea supporter, who adores John terry. He is ready to help in whichever way possible whenever required.
Sir Roy Keane :
Now anyone with that ID would attract my attention. After all, Keano was someone who was adored by every Red Devil. The fact that I had to travel to Manipal for my only GD/PI outside Bangalore initiated our interaction. He was of great help not only to me but to several others traveling to Manipal since he was a localite of Manipal. Right from travel options to putting up at hotels in Manipal/Udupi, he was of great help to people aspiring for TAPMI. Met him personally on my trip to Manipal. A Keano admirer to the core, he is a regular at the PG Football thread.
Hoping you be at Manipal for 2 more years.
Regards.
Manchester United is my religion, and Rooney is my God !

The Following 9 Users Say Thank You to coolroy For This Useful Post:
I just NEED to write a special testimonial for my fellow puys from the football thread.
Coolroy - brilliant at analysing games, his analyses are always worth reading. Most of his pre-game predictions are accurate, and I'm not surprised. Acute observation power, I must say.
Sir Roy Keane - We may not always be on the 'same page' (eh, Roy? ) as far as our favourite clubs and discussions about them go, but I'm sure we manage to liven up the forum with different takes about games/players/referees/managers etc.
Ande_ka_funda - Or as Roy calls him, 'egg of logic'. I think that sums him up pretty well. Again, good at analysing games, and offering valuable insights.
In addition, polpot, Jok3r, swagat (The Chelsea man!) and ronticus have great opinions. The best part about the thread is that despite being ardent supporters of different clubs, we manage to discuss every issue objectively, and without biases and prejudices.
It truly was a very good few months in puyland. And the frequency matches with people! Was telling coolroy that I would start a similar thread - but nitin beat me to it. Helluva thread buddy!
Well I went for three interviews and ran into many guys from PG, but will post of some guys who have been posting a lot.
PG Meet @ Pune: Was the first meet I attended. I managed to meet Deep Agarwal, Jimmy Google and Hameed Bhai, robaroo, meetgmat and many others. Also, I had the first run in with Anvesh. Met some old PG members who arent as active. There were others too - but they are more the readers than the posters
anvesh23: one of the first contacts I made on PG. Immediately exchanged nos and email IDs.Built an immediate friendship and we have met and stayed in contact ever since. We made a trip together to Mumbai - him for MICAT and me IMT-N. Good times I say. But one of our best times was the trip to Manipal. He had just finished his emotional interview at GIM . Remember pulling his leg for his impatience. Had fun buddy! We hung around quite a lot at Manipal too. All round good guy and he is set for MICA!
and lets not forget, he loves Arsenal and football!
rohanrun:
Rohan, a chilled out goan working in Pune. Met him because I had the same slot as him for TAPMI initially. But since I was done by the 13th and was in Udupi for awhile managed to meet him. A real nice guy, and again the friendship was instant. We visited the TAPMI new campus, ate lunch generally bummed around. Good times, I say. Looking forward to catch up with you again, man.
PSL: The furthest north indian PG member I have met. Chilled out guy and always up for a drink. Met him for a short while at TAPMI and Udupi. Didnt get to hang out much with him, but hope to meet again.
sir roy keane: sir roy keane, what a guy! awesome with football and what posts! met him and had seen him on orkut, but what an animated guy. "Maine CAT phoda", leaves me smiling, when he narrated his CAT story. Didnt get to meet him much but hope to hang out with more sometime. As to how we met - thought he wasnt in Manipal, so had pmed him and fortunately he had some time before he left for Chennai. So he called up and managed to squeeze me (not literally) into his busy schedule! He was the one who told me mr coolroy was in town.
hope you make TAPMI buddy - know how much you want it!
coolroy: though at first I hadnt interacted with him much on the football thread (still a novice but make up for it with unflinching loyalty to JT) immediately gave him a call and met him. He is really chilled out - even for an IT guy. Again, the ease with which we made conversation says a lot about him. We had a good time (albeit short) but thoroughly enjoyable. And good for him - IMI convert! HR guy with awesome knowledge about body language and quick thought processes.
hope to run into you sometime soon (prolly at some football meet)
bharat raj: the only resident Mangalore-based puy. Active contributer at the SOP thread and others too. Chilled out guy who was kind enough to show me Mangalore and take me around. Took me to a god awesome beach - which I think very few are fortunate to see. Enjoyed tiramisu at a local ice cream chain. Also, he managed to make it down to Pune. Watched a couple of movies and basically didnt do much here (nothing in Pune man). Next time you come down here, hope to show you some good places - though dont think it can beat that beach.
seniors from puyland: met some seniors too though just for a while. Thought I would mention and let my appreciation be known to give sometime to guys with a lot of questions. Cherish, Gitesh and Ameya thanks a lot. Your inputs have been posted on threads and a lot of aspiring candidates have had their queries satiated.
A great month for me, met a lot of guys and hope to meet them again. Thanks guys for making this a memorable one for me and keep in touch. May need to network with you somewhere down the line
For those who I ran into, you know where I am so feel free to contact me. Cheers! And Good Luck on your results!
