Hi Puys
Prison Break season 3 ended this week.
Michael is going after Whistler. Sucre is stuck in Sona. Alexandre Mahone is sgain goin back to his evil ways ( luv that guy ), well he did join hands with Whistler.

Whew, & people thought season 3 would be the end.
Man, after a Larger than life season 1, season 2 & 3 were kinda O. K.
Hope they have a cool story line fr season 4.


Also, Heroes Vol 2, ended in December. Am eagerly waitin for Vol 3 aka
"Villains"
2 bad Nathan and Nikki died. But, man how can anyone die in Heroes ????
I mean With Claire's blood injected, dead people rise like just wakin up from a sleep.
Am eagerly waiting when Sylar and Adam come face to face. May the best villain win. Even better, if they join hands & give the Heroes a tough fight.

Hell, I think Nathan will be back. Heroes without the brothers will be like Prison Break without the brothers.



Anyone who haven't seen Heroes is definitely missing something. Hell, Tim Cring created a show which is here to stay.

Is there anyone out there who agrees SYLAR is the best villain on T.V. presently.. I mean , I just luv that guy.... u know eatin brains and all. I mean how atrocious can one get!!!!!
Am eagerly waiting for Volume 3 aka " villains".

hadn't seen the last 3-4 episodes of PB season 3......will get down to it as soon as i get the time...

I do not believe a date has yet been finalized for airing vol 3, but rumors are it airs in September 2008.

I do know the following about vol 3:

1. Volume 3 will have a legion of villains that will possibly join forces against the Heroes.

2. Tim Kring about Villains ”We’ve introduced a cadre of them over the course of the show and we’re going to see them rise up. Just as the heroes have found each other to save the world, the villains will do the same with the opposite intent.” And their numbers may be legion. “The Company has catalogued many of these people over the years. There may be more of them down in that basement than we have alluded to so far.”

3. A new villain named Knox ( frightening and intense, with the eyes of a predator ) returns to his native city of New Orleans -the criminal territory he used to run before he was sent to prison. This puts him directly in the path of Micah, his great-aunt Uhura and Monica Daniels.

Its nice that someone has come out with a thread which features discussion on two best shows on television currently. I am big fan of both of them. A little bit more of Prison Break and of Michael Scofield

I love Heroes too, but I think that they sort of lost a bit of plot in Volume 2, put a lot of characters in it, and I really missed Sylar. The best character according to me, in that show is possibly Sylar and they needed to leverage him. Hope they do justice in volume 3.

Since the writers' strike has ended is there any indication of possible dates of Volume 3 ?

P.S And Sylar doesn't "eat" brains. :angry:

Finally I found one more thread on PG where i would love to post.I am also a big fan of Prison Break.
I have always been the one who pays attention to small details (when i see something whether its tv,radio).Dont worry I am not anywhere near to Micheal Scofield

I have downloaded version of all the seasons.Currently I am on episode-3 of season-2.
And i obviously wud not love to participate if you guys are discussing about season-3.

Some lines for this adrenaline secreting serial.I have never seen this kind of serial.
They have given attention to every small detail (I cant forget opening of bathroom sink by the screw of a bench placed in the open area ).

I would love to be a part of this if you guys are discussing about season 1.We can decide what we want to discuss in particular.

Secondly, thanks Heroes & Prison Break are my favorite too.
However, not many puys seem to be interested in these shows.


Well, it is more or less confirmed that Volume 3 airs in September 2008.

Oh please, I have been in this discussion before with my friends. They came up with some really stupid logics like he studies the brain,& blah blah & even more blah.

Bottom line: Sylar eats brain

Here is my evidence:

1) Season 1 Episode 18 "parasite": Sylar says to Mohinder, "Give me a damn list( of people with abilities) so I can sink my teeth in".
2) Season 1 Episode 21 "The Hard Part": Molly while talking to mohinder suresh refers to Sylar as the boogeyman, who will "eat your brain."
3) Isaac Mendez, Ted and all other victims of Sylar have their brain "missing". If Sylar studied brains, they would actually be there as he certainly doesn't collect them.


Thus, it is not nice to disparage such a vicious villain.

I prefer Heroes to prison break. Really enjoyed the first season of PB but it got boring for me after the start of the second. I forced myself to sit through the second but I couldnt manage ten mins of the third season. PB is over for me!

Heroes is a show I love! I particularly like the way how things relate to one another (much like Lost) and always look forward to how the season rockets its pace midway...

For all Heroes fans there is a special comics version that documents each episode in pure and true comic fashion!

I've been a great fan of Prison Break, downloading each episode as soon as it aired and watching with friends as soon as possible. But Season 3 was a real let-down. Especially the last few episodes. The cheesyness reached new highs. The story was believable as well as gripping in S1 n S2, but it din seem too well thought-out for S3.
SPOILERS AHEAD: The writers seemed desperate with th 9th episode's roller coaster ride. Coz all it did was bring things back to square one after the epic 8th episode. Of course, the absence of a certain character made things take a turn for the worse as well.

And Heroes is a classy show, but it lacks in overall direction. Dont' get me wrong, I've watched all the episodes twice and read all the graphic novels. But it seems like each episode is made as a separate entity. The overall direction seems missing.
For example, the ending of season 1. Man, the things they could've done. They ruined it all by not having an initial plan to go by. And by the time they got to the last 3 episodes it was too late to change the ending. I would've made Ando th bomb if it wasn't supposed to go off. OR, I'd just've let bomb go off, whoever it was.
What they did and what they could've done is too far apart.
Second season, my biggest gripe is that nobody really died. Not after the last season, not within it either. That's just overkill [pun intended]
But I absolutely loved the revelation of Adam Monroe. The best thing in S2.
And man is Elle hot or what? I'm not talkin bout Kristin Bell. I'm talkin bout the evil/sadistic character of Elle. Great new addition as the anti-Claire.
P.S. You might've guessed I don't like Claire and everyone's obsession bout her. Same goes for Hayden Panettiere. And thus I didn't like West's character either.

One show that has maintained a bit of consistency is LOST. Each episode isn't as exciting as one of the above two, but at that level of mediocrity[a word I use ONLY due to comparisons with PB n Heroes], it's easier to remain consistent.. There's no shock-and-awe tactics..
