Here's what I propose:
1. Get the PG Local chapters idea rolling simultaneously along with PG Radio
2. PG Local chapters could start with a core group of at least 3-4 people from each city. The more the merrier. Never mind if the members of the core group are MBA aspirants and may not be in the city 4 months from now.. A start is important..
3. Provide a slot for each chapter say around 20 min. So assuming we have 4 cities at least that takes up 80 minutes of your content. Let people vote for the best city slot and announce the best city at the end of the week.

4. Now the content to be embedded in the city slots could be anything from fact to fiction - preferably but not compulsorily related to PG in some way at least. Some things i can think of are Pg meet reports, community service reports along with some funny reports on the current happenings in the city etc... For example, for Bangalore it could be anything ranging from HR providing a small report on the PG meet to Physco explaining about "cannibalism"

to Prem encouraging people to not be disheartened by small roadblocks in life
5. The content may not necessarily be in audio format in the first few weeks as every city may not really find a good voice. Just write the content keeping in mind that it will be listened by people and not read. And then forward it to PGHQ who can get one of the RJs on board and convert it into the real thing.
And if you see the scope of PG local chapters can be taken beyond the city-centric slots quite easily. Covering B-school fests, events which may be of interest of PG users like say a barcamp, reviewing coaching classes etc can be achieved easily in the long run
As for other content ideas, I propose we create some shows which will focus on a certain area. Like say a 30 min "cat counselling session" wherein some of teh CAT crackers answer a few queries raised in a thread on PG dedicated to the same. Much like the Vividhbharti programmes where they say..
yeh agla khat aaya hai timbaktoo aur wo kehte hai ki...
Then something refreshing like PJ slot.. something similar to "Sud" on Radio Mirchi. And also as posted below.. birthdays of the week, small fillers on how to use PG better, sort of "Did-You-Knows" like
"Did you know that tags is a great way to search threads"?
More ideas later.. I got to pretend that I work
PS: This post was not inspired by IPL

PG Local chapters is a idea proposed long before India played its first Twenty20 match
