Also.. keep it different from all others... No annoying polls, calls... Instead keep amatuer RJs who sound amatuer... Adds a bit more PG news.... have a small 10 min segment which is ultra serious daily news report along with MBA news.. like the bbc... after that have the same news said in a satirical way...It can be called UNpagal and Pagal New Bulletin

We can also have a tiny segment with self recorded PG ads... It can be a contest wherein people make jingles and sing them....

And a no-nonsense music hour

MBA news can be there obviously...

We can call the mods and play pranks on them

We can have shows on absolutely anything.. Cricket, Books, Footie or footsie... even life philosophies and gyaan.. someone or the other will listen 100% sure of that///

Great Idea...
To start with we can have songs devided in different programs carrying new, recednt and old ones...
We can have songs as per enre as well... Silent, Romantic, Pop etc...

Along with songs i think if we can come up with the recordings of the interview which are posted on the home page of PG.

Some suggestions from the enriched and enlightened janata to guide the new and enthusiastic janata looking forward to bell the CAT...

A great idea... lets see when can we rock and roll on that ?

the idea sounds good...though i am not sure about the technical and economic feasiblity of the whole plan
I mean it surely will be a diff experience ..It'll take the whole pagalguy experience to a different plane...
I vote for
Music.....everything from romantic, indipop,soft rock, heavy metal...i am sure everything will work jus fine..
There can be discussions...calls,votes, news...announcements...and ofcourse some serious leg pulling...

Radio PG-Thats awesome idea
The previous posts have great ideas for content,adding to them-i guess we can have slots for the technical stuff,Trivia titbits (may be 30 sec long)aired randomly.
Basically we can have the topics of most of the threads also on the radio,if that pleases all.There can be quizzes-general,fun,one-liners!
There can be podcasts from fellow PG-ites(who can book slots)

However it turns out to be,PG for the ears would be wonderful

The 1st step in making our case is to jolt down various types of content that puys will be interested in and determining how we will generate the required content. once we are done with this we shall discuss about economic feasibility.

coming back to step-1. here is a consolidated list of content that puys will be interested in(going by the last few posts)

1) gyan from guys who aced CAT,XAT et al...
2) music of all genre
3) Interviews by BSchool deans,directors etc(audio versions of those on PG portal)
4) A show discussing crazy posts on PG (may be on a weekly basis)
5) Spoofs of current affairs
6) Daily poor jokes, sun sign prognosis, sher-o-shayari
7) news (general,bschool,political,sports)
covering bschool fests

now the issue is how do we generate content for all these ? and is there enough content to cover 24*7.

we can have all the music. so it wont be a problem but i have no idea on copyright issues. do we have to take a separate license for airing music on online radio ?

interviews by bschool deans, directors etc won't be a problem i guess. we have PG news posting the same on portal. we can ask them to generate audio versions also. And then how many shows can we generate ? apurv should tell more about this.

how to cover Bschool fests. what exactly in these fests should we cover ? who will take the responsibility ? same issues are there for daily poor jokes, sun-sign prognosis etc etc..
