This thread i am beginning regarding Prof. Arindam chaudhari and his various initiatives and the views of puys regarding that.
****- Indian Institute of Planning and Management. Boasting of big ads in papers asking you to ' Dare to think beyond the IIMs ' . Also showing rankings in some magazine showing to be ahead of n number of IIMs. Don't know whether it is a good enough institute or not but from the outset appears to be a definete 'No' because of the big advertising it does trying to lure people. If it was actually that great there wouldn't be really a need for it to say things so loud .
Count Your Chickens Before They Hatch and The Great Indian Dream- Both books are supposed to be bestsellers and a must for a management enthusiast. Are they really worth it and good enough? (I haven't read any of these so i'll request others who have to post their feedback).
Planman Media - This is another initiative by him. Publishes 4 magazines AFAIK - The Sunday Indian,Business & Economy,4 P's and The PC Magazine.
The Sunday Indian I have read once and articles seemed to be decent enough.
Planman Productions - Involved with movies. Gave the big flop Rok Sako To Rok Lo but also the current hot favourite by Rajat Kapoor - Mithya .
PS : I want puys to give their feedback on the various things discussed here esp. the books and ****.
I think I have taken a negative tone esp for the books and the institute but that is just my personal view.
This thread comprises of only the knowlwdge that I possess at this juncture and is strictly a personal opinion.
Mods, I think I am posting in the correct forum. If not please move it to the correct one. | | | | | | | |

Hmmm the site indeed is helpful showing the real picture to some extent.
