[2008]F1 Season

hi Puys,

me posting after a long time on this forum...2008 season was off with a bang...and with Force India on the tarmac, me would be doubly interested in the proceedings this year round. Altho, the start was ominous for Force India but then all the Ferraris had an off day in the sweltering heat of Melbourne. Lets hope Sutil n Fisi can keep the tirangaa flying high .....

BTW Hamilton is sure to clinch the drivers title this time round and last time it was just plain misfortune which prevented him from laying his hands on the championship title...Me hoping he can exorcise the demons and emerge the champ that he is....Kimi...errr...ummm...he is rather squeamish...Hamilton has got that fire and aggression which epitomised my other fav a certain Shoemaker from the hinterland of Deutschland......

What an attritional race! It seems that the new rules will make this season very interesting. Unfortunately, I missed the live telecast.

Hamilton winning was a formality more than anything else. The Ferraris weren’t up to the pace and BMW need some more races to really start challenging for wins.

But amidst the entire melee, one person who went quietly unnoticed was Alonso. A podium finish wld have been sweeter, but a 4th place with that car was awesome stuff.

He would have certainly taken that after a dismal qualifying run.

Lets hope that Renault improve and give him a much better machine to challenge for the championship!

Was a terrific race for sure..
I love the changes.. Races will be much more exciting now..

Kimi was sure driving wheels off that ferrari, which sure looked lost in the crowd.
Hope they do their homework and fast.
Or this time, no one would even get near Hamilton.

Wishing Kimi had gone past Kovalainen, race would have been different there on..
