I agree with rajat that it is too early to compare lewis with arguably the greatest driver in F1. But having said that Lewis deserves all the praise as he has been most impressive since his rookie season :innocent:

But the young drivers like vettel, etc may rise up to the challenge and when given better cars, who knows what they can d with it! :batman:

It will be very interesting times ahead in F1 !

ya i hd read this article quite sumtime back , but wat i feel is that Force India needs a better car first .... only den can dey look at drivers .... Fishichella is a v experienced driver .... given a better car i am sure he can manage some championship points ....

vijay mallya has all the cash in the world
but his sports investments are hopeless to say the least
his two football clubs-east bengal and mohun bagan,once the two biggest clubs in india,is fighting to save relegation in the i league every alternate year in turns
his IPL team has finished 7th inspite of having kallis,boucher,misbah and were all over the newspapers for all the wrong reasons
his F1 cars are not upto the standard
is financial muscle not the only thing in order to get the good people and hence good cars or am i missing something else?

I am not retaliating to your post, but im just looking at it from a diff perspective

1) East-bengal and Mohun Bagan are India's best football clubs (or atleast the most well know) investing money into it is certainly a promising aspect.

2) No matter how much you invest into F1, it isnt very easy for a new team to get into the points table in their first season.

3) as for Royal challengers, i remember seeing a forward that was sent with Mallya and Dravid together. it looks as though Mallya is whining to Dravid for having chosen a crap team.

yaar mallya has just set foot in the F1 zone. i am sure he is a smart businessman and will know when to pull out if needed or what sort of money he needs to pump in to his team to make it better...Just wait and watch!
