if hamilton didn't win, massa didn't make a podium finish too
so it's a mixed day for me

kubica is looking athreat but i dont think he'll ultimately be one
lewis has to win it in china as massa will surely make it to the podium in brazil

Awesome race!!

Start was amazing with Kimi taking the lead frm Mclarens unti Lewis spoiled it for everyone. Must say, ferrari is quick off the line.

Loads of incident happened and in the end Massa took 2 points away from Lewis.

My fav move was Massa on Webber.

My pick for WC: Lewis - Driver, Ferrari - Team

Again, FA shows how good a driver he is now and hats off to him and Renault team.

Kubica did a good job to hold on Kimi. He has a bright future too.

Re: [2008]F1 Season - 13-10-2008, 09:44 AM

Good race....lots of incidents...fun to the core...

Lewis's ego hurt every1 in the first lap of the race itself...for whih he rightly got the drive thru...
FA man he was superb...remember sum1 here was arguing tat FA was not among the best drivers this yr, well FA gave yet another example...
mind you no luck factor this time...its just pure talent....

Move of the day...definitely Massa on Webber...superb...massa has looked better race after race...

Kimi finally got some pts...He had promised to do watever he can to help ferrari win the constructors...yday was all abt tat...Kubica showed good defence to hold kimi off...

Massa needs to win Chinese GP, or atleast a podium finish, ideally a Ferrari 1-2 is wat is needed...so tat massa chops atleast 4 points of Lewis...

Well I think he has two good reasons to help Massa:

1. He will sooner or later get into Ferrari where Massa would be his team mate.(Assuming that Kimi retires).

2. He is anti Hamilton especiallay the way hamilton wanted to unlap himself at the end of the race.

Coming to WC: Both drivers are throwing points like they dont want to win the WC.
Ideally, Ferrari and kimi should have won the WC easily due to a superior car esp in the first few races. But they commited so many blunders.

Looking fwd to Shanghai now.

Funny article, I must say. Sample this.

In the official post-race press conference at Fuji Speedway, Alonso admitted he agreed with the stewards' decision to penalise Hamilton for his first corner incident.

The 27-year-old later told Italy's
Sky: "I didn't know why he (Hamilton) had been penalised. After last year, I want Ferrari to win. I will help Massa if I can."

Ridiculous article. But I wont be surprised if Alonso actually said that . Petty grudges against ex teammates quite aptly show his sportsmanship.

He also says

"After 16 races the leader has 84 points, but I had that many after nine races in 2006,"

Somebody remind him of 2007 please .

Its not just Alonso whos holding a grudge here...same's true on part of Lewis...desperate bid to unlap himself yday...a horrible overtaking move on alonso 2 or 3 races back...overtaking him and then closing the door and forcing alonso to go wide...So i guess its mutual...so do u mean lewis is also not being a sport....??

Reg 2007...it was clear ther was a bias against alonso in mclaren last yr...delaying his pitstop...not allowing him to get a flying lap in qualifiers...(for which mclaren had recieved a penalty..)
So 2007 doesnt prove a point....
Thou neither does alonso's 2006 line...as he had clear better car @ tat stage..still ferrari (schumi) made his life hell towards the end...
