Its that time of the year when preps and revision take a back seat, and in the driver's seat come good luck charms, talismans, totems and tone-totke
Well, even in the much touted digital world, good number of us thus become susceptible to the occult, so to say..

SOP for the Thread: This is another one of those unwind zones to discuss some traits/habits which you might have picked up during your school / college / mock days which you believe are your PEDs (Performance Enhancements Drugs!)..

To put it plainly, let us discuss our dependence on those habits / things / activities / features of ours, we make sure we do (or we don't) on the exam day..

my lucky tie ... got me thru interviews for 3 succesive years!!
Year 1 : XIMB
Year 2 : IIM C
Year 3 : Summer placements

Did not get converts at other insti while not wearing the tie

Hahaha!! It does seem that we all do believe in such things..
My mom gave me sth sweet to eat (mostly dahi-laddoo or sth like that) in my school days...
Used to have some lucky charms:: lucky pen, lucky shirt.. Even I've heard of a bad-looking tie succeeding in placing 17 candidates in my senior batch..
For some time now, ( i.e. in last 2 years or so on occasions like job interviews, GMAT-day etc)I've restricted this mostly to morning prayers or a maatha-tekna in the nearby mandir..

hmm...dunno...if i had any lucky charm as such or not...but then i always do carry some chewing gum/halls/mint etc with for most of the exams...kinda helps keep the hunger buds away...lol
