I m to referring to that dude....offering seat to anyone is not karma ...it just "good manners"
And now u see.......the discussion has bee drifted to somewhere else for which i was started.Thats the only case with discussions brother.so stop discussing and start action. If we can't do something i.e if there is no actiosn then there should not b any discussion.Because its only gonna give u complacency and noting more.
And i m still not convinced what u r gonna get by discussing achievements of india...and u just wanna increase ur GK.

What's the central idea of having this thread?

There is still a long way to go before the world accepts India is great.
all we have done is get some attention, its on how we use the limelight to do something special, thats what will decide if we are great or not.
there are loads of areas where we need significant amount of improvement, and as that happens we will certainly become a great nation.

we are still infants in terms of many parameters, so basking on our past glory will not make any difference other than boost our morale. what we need is a plan in place or a strategy that will see us through. thats why i said we can discuss about how we want India to shape up in the years to come.

not that all this will make any difference, but atleast thats a more meaningful and an intellectual discussion.

if you see this thread, you will realize that right from the second post ppl have taken the topic lightly, and that will be how things will continue.
