me too one of those who used to call rajit kapoor byomkesh bakshi
Regarding text available on byomkesh bakshi iv read a book wrttten by sardindu bandpadhyay (byomkesh's creator) called the pin mystery and other stories(imnot sure about the title).its got all the stories u guys discussed.pub house is penguin India and itis priced at 200 something.
Bakhi da fans would also like feluda stories (satyajit ray)
Feluda cases are much better than bakshi's.

seriously, kya dhaansoo serial thaa ... i started considering jasoosi as full time career option for me ... hoping some of u also wud have felt the same way

what striked me most was the style with which he approached every problem ... so kool n composed, yet so sharp ... direction was another strong point of the serial.

The guy simply rocks. Me too a Byomkesh Bakshi fan.

I think the first episode was the china town episode that occurs in a hotel. The cycle ring clock was much later.

P.S. My favorite is the one in whihc there is patch of quicksand amidst a jungle and as soon as people hear the tigre roar, they would go and stand on the quick sand.
