Yup, the above can be done. Go to google.com/a and signup for the free-edition. Then verify that you own the domain name(change CNAME records). Steps are given and with a little experimenting you'll be able to figure it out. If you want to add e-mail change the MX records.
If you want to host pages, add CNAME with a www

Note that the only thing you can do with Google hosting is host pages not a forum. Also note that google reserves the right to withdraw services so in case you do something illegal Bye Bye

Depends. If its only pages then you can use Bravenet's Password Protection feature. There's a paid and a free version. However you'll have to manually add every approved user.

As for hosting dig around a little. You never know where you might find the best opportunity :-)

count me in for Web 2.0 discussions.

i own a domain name , and have good experience of phpbb,wordpress,joomla,phpizabi,mediawiki many CMS ....

started one website, worked for 1 year got more than 3500 users earned 400 $ and lost everything.

some one (i know very well whos that) hacked into my website , SQL Injetion , few more attacks ....lost control of everything .....then they hacked my Yahoo Account (Yeah its that easy !!! all u need is a proxy booter,cracker & list of passwords logins thats it )

google blocked my adsense account.....

this is the story so far........

will love to chat everything about open source (LAMP).......

so lets start something guys........

Hey I too lost my 5 year old Yahoo ID recently through some spyware??:, and the most important fact is that I am yet to recognise that bug in my system.................Any idea on how to recover my ID (and obviously I forgot the B'day entered there).

there are many yahoo hater sites which will offer you booters for free.
just google as booter and or Yahoo booter / proxy cracker etc and you will get everything you need to hack into anyones yahoo account.

but the booter itself is a virus like thing which may cos problems to ur PC.
ur antivirus will start crying as soon as u downlaod any booter.
so be care full.....


and a$$-wise i need not say windows sucks !!!

Yeah...i got all CS3 software ( premier, flash, photoshop, dreamweaver )

it's good but don't offer too much improvement over CS2

i agree yahoo / google can be cracked easily but since u own a site n ur own hosting, you could ve used ur private emails for important account ( paypal / adsense etc) ...

with some good layering( which is widely available) , it will be quite diff to break into private domain
