1. In 1865, the 1st edition of which book by an English mathematician was withdrawn because of bad printing?

2. I was born on the 30th of November 1835 and the most auspicious element in my birth was the presence of Hailey s comet in the sky. Before I put pen down to paper, I had stints as a printer, a steamboat pilot, a gold prospector and a journalist. I was well known for my storytelling and stage presence. Who am i?

3. When first introduced in England it was described as a versatile medicine which purged superflous phlegm and other gross humors, and opened all the pores and passages of the body. What?

4. It was inspired by the French, but formulated in Edinburgh in 1768. It is now published by the university of Chicago but still calls itself English. It was first named as ‘dictionary of arts and sciences’. What is it called now?

5. The 25 windows in this monument is said to symbolize 25 different gem stones found on earth. Which monument?
