We've all heard that half a million monkeys banging on a million typewriters will eventually reproduce the entire works of Shakespeare. Now, thanks to the Internet, we know that's not true.

1. Second place....., yup, Brat got it right!
Rathore came up with a silver medal at Athens, Buzz Aldrin was the second man to walk on the moon, Avis, of course, was the company which famously used their second-place tag to their advantage........
2. Names of horses...., spot on, dragon!
Tornado - for Zorro
Hero - for Phantom
Bucephales - for Alexander
3.I was thinking of Atlantis
Plato was the first to describe the continent, Stephen King wrote 'Hearts in Atlantis', Anthony Hopkins played the lead role in the movie version
4. Joe DiMaggio...., Brat again, though I would have loved Ranjitha to have explained a bit further
DiMaggio appears in 'Mrs. Robinson' and 'We didnt start the fire' and of course, baseball!

Enola Gay, the plane which dropped the first atom bomb. The other 2 names were the planes which flanked Enola Gay during its operation. 'Little Boy', by the way, was the bomb dropped from Enola Gay.

5. Who gave Gandhi the title "The Father of the Nation"?
Subash Chandra Bose, Stefan got it right...and Rohit, were you maybe thinking of Louis Fischer?...coz I certainly was
6. "It is a fraud, but it must be maintained for the masses"-Voltaire ....what is 'it'?
Religion it is.
7. Nike has a merchandise called '10/2'. Why the name?
Yep, in memory of the second of October, 1996, when Lance Armstrong was diagnosed with cancer.
