Help reqd in Windows XP - 10-03-2004, 03:43 PM

Hi all,

i need to know how to disable the "speech recognition" option in windows xp. I turn it off in Word but everytime I restart the PC it would have been turned on again.

the Help feature isnt all that helpful. can anybody tell me how to disable it permanently.

thanks

hey robinhood thanks for the help. I did some R&D in Word today. Found that i can turn the speech function off by clicking "Speech Button" in the "Language Tool Bar".

Dont ask me how I got the "Language Tool Bar" on the screen. somehow it showed up itself

hey dont load windows xp home edition dat really sucks .a lot of my frnds also had problems by loading home edition
Load windoes xp proffessional thru a bootable cd. It'll ask u 2 options---one for fresh installation(on other drive for dual booting) nd other for upgradation.
Choose d desired option nd den go ahead.

Get a patcher for SP1. Loads of keygens available and you should be able to change your key and get to SP1 without issues.

hi Anil Techie

well home edition when updated gets corupt as u have to enter ur CD Key into it. for which u require origina XP CD !!!
even if u have a cracked version it will not work as after 30 days it will start troubling u again. Better is u get a pirated version of XP Profesional from somebody and work with that key. if u r not able to get the key, call Microsoft office in New Delhi, they'll give u th ekey after a ood debate .!!!!

before u do this uninstall XP Home Ed. as if u install xp professional over it , that will consume ur hard disk very hard >......

well i think rest u can understand being a comp.techie. that too in trivandrum.

goodbye

ANUJ
