If the woman wants to live with her lover or doesnt want to live with her husband, she should try getting a divorce (someone already pointed this).

The court ruling is ridiculous....or may be they want to make some news

If this is case then all extra marital affairs will become legal

The Chairperson of the State (K'taka) Women's Commission Pramila Nesargi says that in most cases she has come across, marital discord is due to an unhappy physical relationship.
"Viewing the computer for long hours has proven to cause impotency," she adds.

If the above stated is a fact then only GOD can help the state of affairs. Marriage is then a joke with both husband and wife free to roam around with their "lovers". What has motivated our much regarded judiciary to pass this kind of judjement ?? Marriage is like a merger of two companies...u cant join hands with some other company which is breach of agreement.

Its matter of personal choice. Marriage is not a bondage. People are free to make choices even after getting married. There is nothing illegal ( by Indian law) about extra marital affairs.
Its a choice and others have to be tolerant about it. People may or may not support it, but it is not unlawful.
I can't believe this is even being discussed.

you get a life just once.

the woman is exercising her right to choose.

she doesn't want to have the cake and eat it too.

she's not fooling her husband or cheating on him.

she's an adult and she realizes she won't do justice to a marriage wherein she can't commit herself 100%

ask me, and I'd say she's doing her husband and herself both a favour.

So if u cant give 100% u have the choice of divorce. Why to make the mans life hell. U cant legalise EXTRAMARITAL AFFAIRS for Gods sake.Imagine what would the future look like. We wont have innocent children anymore. It will be so common that even the righteous people will be affected by it. What kinda future r u taking our society to. See MARRIAGE IS AN INSTITUTION and NOT A JOKE. The ppl. who say that it doesnt affect them need to grow up cos their children r watching them. The worlds children r watching them. They will emulate u.

For all those proposing divorce - do you have any idea what one has to undergo, even in cities, to get one finalised?

Now take a satellite township or a rural town - divorce is not just time consuming, it is also money consuming - lawyers, court fees, legalities, endless trips to some court, delays, judge trying to persuade her to stay put, etc etc... how one earth is one to get thru all this with little or no money??
