I have read the above arguments but really no one has dared to stand up and be proud of the Indian Culture. Everyone is keen on aping the west. Really , I feel its possible for us to stay 'Indian' , to nurture the inborn Indianness within us and yet reach the position where we belong - The top of the world. Believe me , only the intrinsic qualities within us help when we are tested to the hilt. It is what we really are that helps when we undergo the sternest tests. I have experienced this myself during the recent GDPI testers and am glad to come out with 4 converts out of 5 calls.

To conclude ,if its immoral and obscene , and its witnessed in India , you are bound to get nothing but brickbats , coz u deserve it. Its a pity that 'women' like Shilpa , Rakhi and most notably Mallika are making a business out of it.

What noble cause is that??? Ms.Flop Shilpa has given a statement that Gere wanted to convey a message that AIDS doesnt spread through kissing...but why kiss Shilpa for that? Is Shilpa a HIV+ve??
If he really had a noble intention he could ve kissed an AIDS patient and spread the message. What Shilpa and Gere done is really cheap publicity stunt.

However, issuing an arrest warrant is stupid.They should have issued warning to the organisers of the event so that such incidents dont occur again.

Isnt it ironical that in US kissing in public is legal but peeing is offfence where as in India peeing in public is legal and kissing is illegal


On that Vadodara incident...people are making hue and cry over "freedom of expression"...what the crap? where were all these freedom seekers when the Danish cartoonist was issued fatwa by our own UP politicians. It was all about a particular religions' self-respect. It is not the moral police that suck but the Pseudo-Seculars.. they suck..suck big time.
