i am starting this thread fr all the junta who are intrested in buying dell laptops...it does nt matter wether we nbuy same models or not bt wat is importnat is that we place orders together...though if we order the same model well gt better deals....have already spoken to the dell pll an they are ready to offer discounts provided we order in bulk even if we order seperate models....
so ppl intrested pls pm me ur numbers and mail adresses so that we can organize smthin...ppl if u have a specific model in mind we can discuss that also an move towards a consensus on that particular model....

E-VALUE CODE : Q540409..i have wrked out the same config as said by u the cost is coming to somewere around 55311...i had a talk wth the dell reginal sales manger and she is reay to gve us a good deal on this...ill work out all the modalities wth her once we decide on the configuration...

Hey Ankit,

In the old thread there was a post by Maulin (post #114). For 55K there was a pretty good deal which was discussed over there. And this was for a single laptop. As mentioned by me in the next post on the same thread, i think, if we can negotiate really hard, we can get a gr8 deal. And if we have numbers in excess of 20 or 25 (which i think we can get), we will be really in a position to get a gr8 deal.

Actually i am not just lookin for a laptop for 2 yrs in B-School (If i get in), but something which i can have for my personal use for another 2 yrs too and found Dell Inspiron 6400 really good for that.

So see if u can get a good bargain for that.

hi arun me in the same boat as u i wd like a laptop that wd be useful beyond the bskool.bt it all depends on the numbers bro...just cheked out the posts u mentioned in the previous post.the config is exactly the same as that in those posts..
