Just want to let you guys knw tht the hdd need not be formatted to partition it later. Vista itself has added partitioning features in the disk management section. Besides softwares like acronis disk director do the job brilliantly.

Well... I don't know the actual model... I just know the dealer... and the config... anyways... you won't find any of the models of latitude up for grabs as cheap as this... The stuff comes with a bill and a DELL warranty... once we all confirm and pay-up the advance... it would take a weeks time for him to arrange the laptops... and like I said there is no delivery... we all have to show up at lamington road shop and collect our laptops... and the same goes for confirmation and advance... Therefore I had clearly mentioned that this deal is for folks in Mumbai only....

PS: the cost may vary a little depending on the number of people jumping in!

So do people all over India have to send their laptops there for any repairs or are there service centres in other parts of india too...
