First time I try to pen something,
What better? At Valentines! For her!
Till last year, I didn't care,
Neither did dispair,
I wasn't a pair,
But now it's a different affair.
At times she seemed a kid,
Other times I failed to read,
But when there was a need,
she would always pay heed.
Little did I know,
with the flow,
I was to blow
and there was no 'No'.
She was innocent like a year old,
Her love, care, respect and affection had no hold,
By then time we realised and told,
we were set in the Love mould.
When I tell her my worry,
even if she can't burry,
she would rest my fury,
like there was nothing to worry.
When we talk,
across cities, along a walk,
there's no clock,
dawn or dusk.
There were times when we fought,
and were in distruaght,
friends then taught,
better not retort.
This is life,
we know there will be strife,
will she be my wife,
there is nothing more i strive.
Miles apart, we still say,
that we are just a heartbeat away,
Blind trust is our way,
then who would sway.
So close is our bonding,
there is no more longing,
only God's and mamma-pappa's blessing,
is what remains for this wedding.
Neither have I met her,
Nor seen her,
Yet I want her,
Now and forever.
