Re: Computer queries - 16-05-2009, 08:35 AM

Hi puys,

I have a Lenovo 3000 C100 laptop. I find a peculiar problem while typing. The cursor would, per se, jump to some other line (automatically) even though i am still typing in the same line. Sometimes, the window in which i am typing would shift to background and some other window would come to foreground.

I fail to understand the reason for this. There is no virus in my system and i haven't press Alt or Ctrl or Shift or Enter....

Kindly let me know what can be the reason for this issue ?

Add me to the club ! Although, windows don't change for me, the cursor occasionally flies off to some other part of the document. I use a Lenovo T61 at work and this keeps doing the same. For a while, I wondered if it was a driver conflict with the external USB mouse that I use as well, but then the issue persisted even after I removed the external mouse. Tried updating drivers as well, but no help.....It's not a major issue, but more like an irritant.

Well, this is a touch pad issue.Download attached file, extract and install it.It fixed jumping cursor error of many laptop users.I hope your's too.
What this file actually do:-It automatically disables touchpad while you are typing text.
Applies to Windows NT/2000/XP
No bugs:-Scanned with Kaspersky
Note:Install it at your own risk.(I m 99% sure that it will not create any issue but 1% for your luck)

Best of luck...
Cheers,
