Its not news anymore dood. All ODI matches played in India will be telecasted by DD. In fact, all matches of "National Importance", irrespective of where they r played will be telecasted by DD. (Remember Ind Vs Pak series in Pak).
Cheers
Pradeep.

i'v hardly seen 'harsha ki khoj', so won't comment on it. but, whatever little i'v seen of wasim akram, i'v liked him. had heard a bit of commentary during india's tour of b'desh, in which akram was also there. i don't think he is as bad as u make him out to be. plus, he seems to be quite comfortable in both medium - english and hindi.
Quote:
And what do u say about the Shaz & Waz show. shastri simply rocks that show, along with those pretty girls
C'mon man, let me list a few of Wasim bhai's negatives -

He's too self-conscious for words
I dont remember a single comment he's made which was thought-provoking or analytical or anything
He doesn't have a great sense of humour
He has a none too impressive voice

hmm...he speaks both languages true,...but comfortable?....
And the less said about Shaz& Waz, the better :x ...firstly, its a rotten concept,,if we want to watch hot babes, we know where to go, you dont have to put them in the commentary box between innings...secondly, I just dont think Shaz and Waz gel together at all...their timing is all wrong,... and they dont know whether to talk about the match, the girl or themselves

Quote:
Noombah 1- Geoffry along side Harsha ,Pthetic- Lax Sivrama alongside Manjrekar
And pray, tell me what you have against Manjrekar....especially since you seem to like Bhogle and Boycott
So again, let me list a few of Sanjay's positives -
He's articulate
He's not an overboard type unlike so many other commentators who think they are as important to the game as the players are
He's got a subtle sense of humour and really "connects" with whoever he speaks to.
He's as neutral as they come
And he's a good anchor a la Bhogle, being able to carry the show along with aplomb

What say?

Nothing is as evocative as the sound of silence....or maybe my blog is
But don't be politically silent, be Politically Pagal....

trivia - 28-02-2005, 04:49 PM

here are a few interesting questions: try answering without googling..though i got em from a website

---There are many Indians who just got to play one Test in their careers. Does any country have a worse record? how many indians have this record against their names??

---
What's the lowest individual score that has never been made in a Test match and ODI?

---
What is the most runs scored by a single player in a Test match?

---there is a difference of more than seven years since Justin Langer's most recent Test and his most recent ODI. Has anyone gone longer than this?

Please, Lord, let me prove that winning the lottery won't spoil me.

Does going to the website constitute googling? www.cricinfo.com

1) In my opinion, the record shud either be held by Ind or Pak.
2) 0
3) 436? Graham Gooch (333* and 103) Vs India
4) Robin Singh
