i'v hardly seen 'harsha ki khoj', so won't comment on it. but, whatever little i'v seen of wasim akram, i'v liked him. had heard a bit of commentary during india's tour of b'desh, in which akram was also there. i don't think he is as bad as u make him out to be. plus, he seems to be quite comfortable in both medium - english and hindi.

And what do u say about the Shaz & Waz show. shastri simply rocks that show, along with those pretty girls
|
C'mon man, let me list a few of Wasim bhai's negatives -
He's too self-conscious for words
I dont remember a single comment he's made which was thought-provoking or analytical or anything
He doesn't have a great sense of humour
He has a none too impressive voice

hmm...he speaks both languages true,...but comfortable?....
And the less said about Shaz& Waz, the better :x ...firstly, its a rotten concept,,if we want to watch hot babes, we know where to go, you dont have to put them in the commentary box between innings...secondly, I just dont think Shaz and Waz gel together at all...their timing is all wrong,... and they dont know whether to talk about the match, the girl or themselves

Noombah 1- Geoffry along side Harsha ,Pthetic- Lax Sivrama alongside Manjrekar

And pray, tell me what you have against Manjrekar....especially since you seem to like Bhogle and Boycott
So again, let me list a few of Sanjay's positives -
He's articulate
He's not an overboard type unlike so many other commentators who think they are as important to the game as the players are
He's got a subtle sense of humour and really "connects" with whoever he speaks to.
He's as neutral as they come
And he's a good anchor a la Bhogle, being able to carry the show along with aplomb
What say?
