Another Sitter:

SRT was on his way to become the worlds youngest Test Centurion (in NewZealand) when his great inning was terminated thru a catch. Who was this man who took that catch and prevented SRT from owning that record too.

Pushkar

P.S : That first century from SRT came soon after when he hit a match saving 109* at Manchester. AS a bonus question name who played a huge role along with SRT to save that match ?

Chalo one more SRT question:

There are only 2 occassions when SRT has scored a duck and a century in the same match.
Name the 2 matches or atleast the 2 opposing teams.

Hint : Came in separate continents. One of the matches was the most heartbreakingly memorable ones. The other was well the storm b4 a calm .

cheers
Pushkar

1 was the Sydney test in 2004
2 was the Chennai test vs Pak ?

Chennai Test is correct. Tho not in the order i intended. This was the heartbreakingly memorable test. Fell 12 runs short of being the best inning by an Indian ever.

Sydney is wrong ... Sydney was 241* and 60*

Keep Guessing

cheers
Pushkar

Pushkar
One match is vs pakistan while chasing a big score 136 in second innnings and he still got the MoM

i dunno the second one ...
but storm before a calm means he lost his captaincy or ran into his big bad patch of 2003 where he scored less runs than murali in the claneder year.

Saving matches by lower order go for Kiran More (though kapil dev and manoj prabhakar are also tempting answers)

Yuvraaj made his One day debut against Kenya in the Champions Trophy at Nairobi. He took 2 wickets on debut, but didnt get to bat as the kenyan total was surpassed very easily.

Heres a related question
which Indian Batsman scored 2 centuries in the series??? (dont think thats too difficult to remember)
