Yes, that's right
1) 4 umpires
2) Both scored them against England. And both did it on the same ground.
3) Gary Sobers. - Its a pretty good book as well, worth a read

just a thot.
do u think its possible for saurav ganguly to bcome captain of WI cricket team now that chanderpaul has stepped down. i mean if he immigrates to trinidad and tobago he cud be eligible in a couple of years and with their current strength he wud walk into the squad!!
at least he can prolong his international career and maybe defeat guru greg at his own game!!

thats the idea!!!!!!!!

however i dont think that west indies are so much in trouble that ganguly will be readily accepted there!!!!!!!!

they have gayle or sarwan to be made captain (read scapegoats!!!) or can always give it to lara or dig up somebody like hooper or jimmy adams from their graves!!!!!!!

plus ganguly's desperations do make chappell look like a saint!!!!!!!

I suppose Ganguly will be better utilized in Bangladesh more than WI. Its nearer home and the nexus of the bengalis will welcome him with open arms. And as far as I know, Bangladesh cricket has at least as much, if not more, money as WI cricket.
However, WI do need a good opener to support Gayle. Maybe our beloved Dada can be put to good use there.

Australia have managed to scrap through. A victory for the Banglas was probably too good to be true.
In any case, well done Bangladesh. You made Gilchrist and Ponting play one of their most crucial test match innings for Australia to win.
Not expecting a similar contest in the next game though. Trust Australia to absolutely maul the poor chaps in the 2nd test

Bangladesh batting in the first day was simply superb....

I think the pace at which they scored their runs caused their downfall....
If they had prolonged their innings maybe they could have saved the defeat....
However they goofed up big time in the secong innings..
Atarget of near 400 could have created the biggest upset in test cricket.....

This reminds me of the first test against India..
They scored 400 odd runs in the first innings and had india in a spot of bother...
but in the secon innings were shot out for only 91....

Did anyone actually watch Shariar Nafees bat on the first day? Becoz, frankly I feel that he played Shane Warne almost as good as how Navjot Singh Sidhu had played Warne on his first tour to India, the difference being that Sidhu used his feet to loft Warne, where as Nafees, employed the sweep shot. Awesome sweeping there by Nafees I feel...

Wonder what Warne had to say about getting "cheap" wickets after this mauling

Warne's an awesome bowler as his record suggests, but sometimes, the typical cockiness and arrogance that he possesses makes him shoot through his lips
