I don't understand this. Why are you'll guys are so afraid? When you are speaking the truth, you'll don't have to be scared of anybody. I have been observing that guys are smartly giving politically correct statement only to avoid offending women over here. This is ridiculous. Are women avoiding giving statements that will offend us?
Watch TV and you will see many male-bashing advertisements. Don't they offend us? Yes it does. But we see those advertisements from a woman's point of view - they find it humourous and funny and so we too must find it funny instead of derogatory.
Women have created such an environment that if a man doesn't support/protect/provide women, then he is a male-chauvinist pig. And if we support another man, women call it discriminatory and anti-women. And we guys are blind to their manipulation.
Women can lie with conviction and we guys can't even say the truth with confidence. It is a shame. If you know you are saying the truth, then don't worry who will be offended because only a person with questionable intent will feel offended hearing the truth.
Say what you have to say. Be brave and speak your mind. If you consider women are going overboard in women empowerment issue, then say so. Obviously women will get offended because they know they are wrong.
Now unity is vital for all of us. If we don't help each other, then who will? Men are forced to protect women, women have always protected other women, who will protect men now? And if these women call us male chauvinist pig, you call them female chauvinist parasite. They are no less than a free-loader.
Speak out. Be brave and say the truth. Say what you feel.

Its alright. I can understand your apprehension and it is justified. Anybody would react like you. When somebody is exposing you out in the open, obviously you wouldn't like it, would you? First, the people here you are talking about, are not kids that they will change their mind after reading my posts. They are mature, intelligent and knows what to believe and what not to believe. Don't underestimate the guys in Pagalguy.com.

Give me a break. Male-bashing and Jassi is totally, totally different. Jassi was the lead character of a woman-centric serial, okay. Your attempt to justify male-bashing is ridiculous and nobody is going to believe your lame argument. There are hundreds of articles printed in foreign countries demanding ban on male bashing advertisement. Don't even think of arguing on this issue.

Who am I to pass the judgement? I hate to pass judgements. I only say what others show me. You are only showing and forcing me to believe that you are a feminist with your behaviour. And others too will understand by now that you don't want guys in here to be bold and truthful.
Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. Who has given me the authority? You have no clue what you are talking about. Apart from my display name and apparently provocative threads, you know nothing about me. Don't even think of intimidating me. Understand?
Yes, it was a nasty, but a true remark, isn't it. I know you didn't like it but I am sure there are plenty of people out there who are enjoying themselves reading my posts and the way I am exposing malicious intents of feminists.
Yes, you are free to write blaaaaaaahhhhhhhh on my comment.

Just an Observation............ -
05-11-2006, 01:34 AM
Just a simple obsevation ( about this thread and other threads started by pupil corcerning that law) but can answer many questions.
People have come out both in support and against the law.
Its evident that gals (somuya, candy etc) support the law while guys (myself mahesh and pupil only) are against it.
But some of the men (erudite, apurv ,oxy, urmad and lots more) has come out in support of gals. But other way round is not true. No girl seems to be opposing the law.
Now don't tell me that this law dosen't have any flaw in it. Girls also might me knowing that but still no one has pointed that out. Even many men have thanked girls for their posts but no girls seems have done that. What we got are just only groans from them. Now may be some of the posts are bad but do u think all our posts are so bad. All points may not be apt but some are quite good and genuine concerns. Even in those posts we are awarded with groans.
Now if ours is a male dominated society than u can easily see the reason Why? It seems that male has a braoder perspective and greater empathy for both male and females and so they are rightly accorded the responsibility to run the family and society. Girls seems to be lacking here. They seems to be corcened about themselves.
Same goes with the corporate scenario. Person who is able to empathize is promoted over others ( no matter how skillful the other is), Same goes over here. Beacuse our decision are based on more rational facts male are allowed to run the society.
And its always better to have a lead who has corcerns for all not just for himself. And its no hidden facts that by nature womens are more canny and selfish. that what Ekta kapoor is showing all throughout his daily TV serials. (I have heard of Kyu ki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi but never heard of kyun ki sasur bhi kabhi damaad tha).
Now its up to you whom do you want in a lead position.

There is a fine line between playing the devil's advocate and turning the entire situation on its head, that line has been breached here. Most of the stuff posted by Pupil does make sense but the way its posted makes it tough to elicit non-passionate participation from the ladies here
Frankly I see a lotta childish behaviour in here in the form of groans for posts that just have a single line And I expected a lotta groans for my post on this page but I seem to be getting a lotta Thank you's for that
Looks like the ladies more or less agree with what I posted

Don't worry about the groans. When girls can't argue with me, obviously they will groan at me. But I know that if there are bad people in here to groan at me, there are good people too to thank me. I have 50 thanks and 45 groans, which clearly shows that there are more good people in this forum.
I wouldn't say that girls shouldn't be allowed to groan. That is the only weapon they have when they fail to argue. Besides, who knows, tomorrow these girls will go to the Government and pass a Groan Control Bill wherein only girls will have the so-called rights to groan at men and if men groan at them, men will be banned from the forum. That is what girls do. According to them, this would have been gender equality.
@zeophyr, do groan at me. You have the right to do that. But don't you think you are sort of disappointing other girls here who have faith in you that you will be able to defeat me in arguments? Don't let other girls down. Argue if you have something left inside. I meant, if there is some truth left inside you.
@warrior, I completely agree with you. Patriarchy is all about taking the responsibility. That is exactly what I was saying. If men support women, women support other women, then who will support men? Imagine that Government authorities are filled with women. Who is going to hear the plight of men? None. Even now the Government isn't doing anything for men especially for farmers who are committing suicide every single day (average 8 deaths in one day). Lawyers, judges, ex-chief justice, everybody are criticising Domestic Violence Bill. But these feminists who have taken over the media are constantly publishing articles to justify DV bill. I guess now their deception will come to an end. Enough is enough. DV bill is going to destroy all indian families and only men, old parents and children will suffer. Imagine if the women reservation bill of 33% in the parliament is passed. The country will become a dictatorship.

Men new 'victims' of domestic violence
Veenu Sandhu
New Delhi, November 4, 2006
Looks like the tables have been turned—for a change, the men are running scared.
The helpline at the Save Indian Family Foundation (SIFF) has not stopped ringing in the 10 days that the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act came into force.
The male callers fear "harassment"—from women—under the new law that can put a man behind bars, simply on the basis of a complaint from a woman living under the same roof.
Counsellors taking the helpline calls for SIFF and My Nation are now talking about cases where the male callers are the victims, and the women the perpetrators of violence—psychological, emotional or verbal.
" Men are now being harassed by their wives with this new weapon," says Swarup Sarkar of SIFF. Supreme Court lawyer Ram Prakash Chugh of the All India Front Against Persecution by Wives corroborates: "All our five helplines are clogged with calls from men being blackmailed with the threat of this new law. Software professionals, doctors, service-class men—everyone is calling," he says.
The most common complaint? The men say that their wives are demanding that they abandon their parents and start living separately. "Domestic violence should be dealt with, but this Act is bound to be misused," says Sarkar, adding that the Act, strangely, does not account for violence by a woman against a woman. He seeks a "domestic harmony act" where both genders are accountable for violence at home.
The misuse of the anti-dowry law made SIFF set up a website ( www.498a.org) to counsel and give legal advice to men and their families who have been implicated falsely; it plans to set up a similar website relating to the new Act.
PS: By fighting against this injustice, you are only protecting your parents. If this could happen to others, it could happen to anybody. Misuse will predominantly happen in lower middle-class, middle-class and upper middle-class families.

The point here is Mr. Pupil that no one wants to get into a stoopid discussion here cos you arent worth arguing with
Dont worry about your 45 groans! They will increase and you will soon be the most most groaned at personality ( :eh: ) of the year

:sleepy: Keep your baseless, thoughtless and of course, spineless knowledge ( oops! sorry to use the word) to yourself! And of course stop generalizing your so called dainted, painted and misogynistic views!

Sorry! No one is disappointing noone! We still have guts enough to stand upto losers like you
And pray dontcha get to the truth thingie! We have brains! Something you are so utterly devoid of!

OMG! I am getting scared!
Pupil! If you are so worried about it why dontcha take all the men who support you and sit on a dharna outside the Parliament! After all, you want to do something about it right?
So do it the right way. Your posting and groaning spree on this forum would not help the cause because your voice aint reaching the correct people!!
And as Oxy pointed out! What's this I groan at you if you groan at me thing! Totally pointless and utterly kiddish
Edited later to add: This post will again be edited! My mock is more important
Guess who's back?
