A coupla points :-

Western Science discovered the planets in the Solar system only after the 15th Century, apna Astrology system pinpointed the exact location of these planets aeons ago. How many of u have actually looked up an ephemeris (panchanga) ?? This was initially formulated by Indian Jyotishis to pinpoint the exact location of the planets alongwith when exactly they go into retrograde motion. Now doing that aint childs play.

How many folks out here have seen the amount of mathematical calculations that go into preparing a horoscope based on DOB and making a prediction ?? The angles are calculated even to minutes, leave alone hours.

The fact is astrology has a solid scientific base, just that we folks dont have the brains to figure out whats its all abt !! So what if a couple of astrologers get some predictions wrong ?? Lots of western scientists have got their theories wrong even after decades of research, doesnt mean that they are fools !! The weather dept gets predictions wrong 5 times a week But then thats science and astrology is humbug aint it ??

Edit : The kind of stuff casinova is posting is exactly the problem astrology suffers from !! Damn these crap softwares that make astrology look like a piece of trash !!

Well most of the things you tell is right like i want to try for civil services & want to really make difference to the society.Above avg with sports & academics.Descent personality as i am 6 ft 1 in.Attached to mom.Intrested in shares.Had a break in stuides as worked for 2 yrs before going for MBA.

Things which i disgree: Very quick in taking descisions.Also, i am wheatish & not fair.Cant say anything about my future wife .

All in all would like to know what can one do study astrology as hobby!!
