I saw initial few episodes of season 4 and then thought, why keep waiting for the suspense, instead will watch the season 4 in 1 go

But yes, had liked the season 4 starting alot as they had changed the format a bit and it looked way better than season 3.

Love this thing man.

It's the best thing to happen to television after FRIENDS.

I used to wait for every Friday as it airs on Thursady in US, you get it on net by Friday.

Certainly, 4th season is awesome. They are showing past, present & future simultaneously. That adds more mystery to the present. Every seasons makes it more mystic. None of the mysteries have been solved till 4th season. But you just love to watch getting it more darker.

P.S. Ego - I have only seen upto 10th episode of the 4th season (& you know the reason). I want episodes after that till 14. Delete mat kar.

season 5

Considering this might be a penultimate season, we might or might not get all the answers but the Pilot redeemed the sci-fi genre in lost to quite some extent

The first two episodes aired are "Because you left" & "The Lie"

****************SPOILER ALERT***********************************

Okay, so Jack working with Ben is still unsettling, so is new cold Sun. But the real action seems to be on the island, as it shifts through time. Now I don't completely understand how Locke left the island or why & how is the time travel possible and etc etc. , but it seems getting close to answering at least few questions.

What if the whispers we heard on the island were actually by these people occupying it in another time, what if the original "others" were actually our oceanic people.

I am pretty sure the lawyers that landed on Kate's doorstep might be because of Sun or Ben- to persuade her to return back to island.
Who the hell is Jacob?

I am liking that they increased the prominence of Daniel to some extent, helps to have a physicist trying to explain all those weirdness on the island.

Considering that Sawyer seems to be feel the alpha male now, I would to see his retorts with Miles . And by the predictable way, I am guessing he will be with Juliet when kate gets backs to the island
What did everyone else think?

I thought first 2 episodes of Lost were very cold. People who have returned from island have not done much in 2 episodes. Also, though the part of the story of island sounded interesting, but nothing much happened in 2 episodes there too. I can't feel the 'thrill' LOST had untill last season.

There is too much 'time change' in first two episodes.

I hope with next episode they get back the pace.

End of season 5 - 14-05-2009, 12:29 PM

WOW!!!

Season 5 had to be one of the best seasons of Lost ever! (Ofcourse season 1 will always be the topper). I mean wow

After a disastrous past 2 seasons,I was worried the Lindelof,Cuse could ever get the mystery and mythology of LOST back, ever! But season 5 discards all such fears by adressing not only a great part of the ISLAND mythology but also going back to LOST's strengths - its characters. Since most of our characters have seen the life on and off the island, the impact that seems to have on them is showcased quite expertly. Much of delight also comes from the newer array of characters like - Juliet, Penny& Desmond, Farday, Miles (One guy who can match sawyer for the sarcasm) ,BEN & that Penny dad(creeps)

Just a heads up to say that Season 5 has one more famous cliffhanger ending but its also self containing since so much has been revealed about the island mythology and motives of the individuals as well!! We know now a lot more about the man in the cabin - Jacob.

This season also returns to the good old format of character centric episodes and they work really well! Case in point - Life and death of Jeremy Bentham, LaFluer, the one with Kate centric....amazing!

Where do we go from here?
With 17 episodes remaining of this great series , we need to know how the JUGHEAD affects the time line, if Faraday is right or closed lood theory is the way, where will all our losties be? and who is man#2

Don't you puys watch so much of the normal last seasons and miss out on this perfect LOST season! catch up
