its not abt happy or sad ending..its abt liking it or not.

for RDB, they could have shown a little more of youth participation, that minister is nailed etc etc

Parineeta.....really really bad ending. was such a nice movie with beautiful songs but the ending-saif breaking the wall...such faaltoo dramatic na..!!

Thats exactly my point ..
the minister getting nailed etc .. wud have been a "happy ending"

Perhaps they were trying to show something closer to reality ..
They showed that a few youngsters did something for the country and tried to make a difference ...
How much of a difference they made .. well thats perhaps not that important ..
Atleast they stood up against the system and tried ...
They perished and sacrificed their lives for that .. Thats what is important ..

That was a terrible scene !!
the whole movie, the songs were wondrful ..
but in the end .. when they were trying to show something serious .. almost evryone was laughing
