[Psychodementia]

I keep getting funny PM on the forum all the time and usually reply back politely. But I wanted to share and spread some of the humour around. I am sure other guys like PG, Maverick, QE, Anurag etc might be getting such funny PMs too.

Though I have deleted some of the really funny ones over the last several months, I will keep updating it. The only fear being, those who know about this thread would think twice about seeking for help. Well, if your messages are going to be like this, you rather stay away from asking:

"hey Pshyco .i am **** from SIESCOMS have u got ne ready made project .it will be really nice if u help me..."

Duh !! He cannot even type out a small PM for help and he needs me to get a "ready made project".

Sample an another one I got some time last week:

"hieeeeeee.......iknow ur buzzeee with lotta work. i need help withmba prep. i need to get into iim next yr. plzzz help.......i know u can do it.........."

Oh yea "I know I can do it" thanks for letting me know

The last example that was stored in my PM list before it went for the monthly deletion routine:

"I urgently required GMAT CDS/Books/Anyother material. I am giving GMAT in the month of March. My address is <snip> ...please courier it and I will duely reimburse the amount."


Relieved to know I will be "reimbursed" the amount Funnily my address was never asked :wink:

Remember I am copy-pasting these from actual PMs that I have been sent Unfortunately I have deleted a lot more "interesting" examples but hope to keep adding to this thread

hieeee... Psycho.. i know you kill time by spamming on PG by starting these types of threads. i need help with my mba course. plzzz help... can you do all my assignments, and complete my projects, and take my quizzes, and write my exams?

My PM box gets full very quickly these days, so I have deleted most of the messages, but I recently got this PM from a user who surprisingly had 0 posts....the message is not funny but I wonder how he knew abt me when he had 0 posts

At least, now I know that more than one person hates me.

OK...so here's my reply to her...

I have nothing against newbies at PG. But the fact of the matter is that all new members are supposed to go through this thread before posting any messages or starting any new threads. I know I did, and God knows what little number of newbies read that thread. The job of the mods would be so much easier if all new entrants read that thread. Please read it now.

First things first, did you really think that there existed no thread regarding CAT 2005, that you had to go and open up a new one?

Now, what was I supposed to tell you?? "Don;t open a new thread one already exists blah blah"??? I think Pooja had done that already.

And NO, I don't have any such habit of posting "such" messages (whatever that's supposed to mean), neither do I want to be a "Watchman" of duplicate threads (in fact, I truly resent you calling me that).

One thing you must understand is that PG (aka Allwin) pays abt 3 lacs per annum to maintain PG.com and its servers etc. The more the amount of data flowing thru the servers, the more expensive it is for him. That's why we frown upon duplicate and irrelevant threads.

And lastly, neither me nor tha mods have anything personal against you. At least you weren;t banned from the forum. Just take this as a lesson, and move on. Hoping I've made myself clear on each count.
