Kya Bolte ho mere PG ke naujavano... Kharid le... hehehehe
Well Abramovich Unkill sure knows how to make money but I have my doubts about his interference with Chelsea FC.
First Grant, Now Ten Cate...
I expect him to bring a total New Management at Chelsea.
And what does he expects them to achieve in their first season will be interesting to know. Though RAb (Roman Abramovich) hardly gives interview. Shy Guy:whatthat:
Betaa Terry ... Teri ek kick ki wajah se kitno ki naukari jayegi:new_shocked: (Take it lightly Swagat, Ego, though you might be laughing when u read this)
Last but not the least:
Terry speak his heart out at a press conference on Thursday, "England was the last place I wanted come, because I had to see Manchester United Players all over again:.... Hmmm... Ladka such to bol raha hai...
Ciao..

“I’ve shown that I’m a big man - I take full responsibility for what happened in Moscow, but I’m a man for big games,”
John Terry after the USA Match
For Christs sake, it was the USA. NOT A BIG MATCH!! FRIENDLY!! How does that make him a big mtch player??? Self advertising ki bhi had hoti hai...
It's a marathon, not a sprint. Unless you're Man Utd, in which case you let the other teams get ahead and then start sprinting as they all fall apart.

Utsav, the USA match was not the big game. The big game was coming back from that miss in Moscow, and playing. Many men have broken down completely at lesser failures.

seriously funny...england are congratulating themselves so much for the win..
they're even gearing up for trinidad & tobago as if its a euro semi...they should be worrying about how to get into the next major tournament...they huffed & puffed while getting into the world cup as well...
i dont see this present bunch of players winning any major silverware ...though i hope capello can prove me wrong...
even though they are the biggest achievers at club stage...they dont perform at national level...i dnt know how ....motivation?...talent?
atleast the defenders can certify as among the best in the world...

Lack of co-ordination is my guess. These guys are so-not-used to playing with each other.
And then how will a guy like Steve Mclaren justify leaving out either Fat Frank or Stevie Wonder. So he shifts the Scouse to the right wing. Might as well have given Lamps the gloves to keep everyone happy!!
Rooney being played as the first striker: Another of those stupid selections. He needs to be the second striker, behind someone like Defoe (who wasn't good the other night), or Johnson, or maybe even Beanstalk Crouch.
I seriously believe that England should make Robert Green their first choice keeper. Mark my words, he's going to be in the top 4 of one of the top leagues in 2-3 years. And there he shall stay. Robinson's howlers are inexcusable now! And James is just too unpredictable!
P.S.: Maybe Capello can take the hard decisions. But I'm not too sure.

Re: Football Club -

Well, I'm glad England are taking their matches against the minnows seriously, instead of eating humble pie later. Also, I think this is the right time, to shed some deadwood, induct some new blood, and prepare for the WC qualifiers, and the WC. I still believe that England have an immensely talented side, but in the 2006 WC, their team selection was awful, and the fact that Owen was injured, and Lampard had an awful run (25 attempts on goal, without scoring any) contributed to the poor performance.
P.S. No offence meant to anyone, but as Utsav Jr. says, Arsenal are strong candidates for BBLT. And even though he doesn't agree, I think Liverpool are also strong contenders for membership. (I'm willing to be the cheerleader. )

Well I strongly detest him being a cheerleader... Sumit Bhai IPL se seekh lo ... tumhe banayege shaeee... I m disappointed.
Well on the serious front, Few things which we must understand..
Rooney is not a cutting edge striker, this part of his game needs development, sometimes he beats cech and scores a nice goal (the one in EPL against chelsea), that was a cool finish, but he misses to many to play as a front striker, and as a second striker, nobody in england can compete with him.
England really need a front man, I still feel the best bet is Michael Owen (when is injury free).
Rest Wings look good now, with Joe Cole, Ashley Young, Gabriel Agbonlahor (the real deal), David Bentley and Downing. Things are looking promising in this department.
I dont feel Gerrard and Lampard have done well enough internationally. These two players I feel are the reason why England have high hopes but they fetch zilch in major tournaments which culminates to England failure.
Lampard and Gerrard job is going forward as an attacking AM.. and they mismanage this role, and both of them together are unable to hold the other team, so the other team also runs them over. So why play them together.
You might accuse me of being bias, but being honest, Carrick or Hargreaves alongside Gerrard/Lampard, will give more cutting edge to England.
I knew my views might raise eyebrows? Comments welcome..
Ciao..

hardly any eyebrows are going to be raised..i think most of us might feel the same way...
only one out of gerrard & lampard can play...current form for me says gerrard with hargreaves...
at least england will have a strong bench
richards, ferdinand, terry & cole in defense can manage against the best of strike forces with hargreaves as DM
front striker...big problem...england is really short of strikers...a bit like portugal...
then..apart from the goalkeeper...the squad is good enough...its just the performance that is left...
as i always say...england is the indian cricket team of football...

Thank God!! I've been saying this for ages, but most people interpret it as 'jealousy' towards Manchester United. I do feel Rooney has many assists to his name, and is a good presence on the field, but he needs to go to 'finishing school.'

Totally! Owen's the man! If Owen is unavailable, Dean Ashton and Jermaine Defoe can be considered for the position. Maybe, even Darren Bent, not too sure, though. :eh:
The wings of course, look good!

Yes, IMHO, the problem is not Gerrard or Lampard, but Gerrard and Lampard. Playing two attacking midfielders with a 4-4-2 formation just doesn't make sense. And both being 'big names', a coach may want to play both. Maybe, that's why Gerrard has been played on the right-wing at times.
But, in my opinion, Gerrard should start and Lampard should come off the bench. Remember Scholesy? Like Gerrard, he wanted to play in central midfield, but the coach used him more on the wings. Result: He sacrificed his England career at the age of 29. Gerrard is a far far better player as a CM/CAM. I dunno why they waste him, by using him on the wings.

Carrying forward from the last point, yes, Hargo/Carrick will be useful as holding midfielders, and support Gerrard/Lampard.
P.S. Is it just my suspicious mind, or does anyone else also think that Gerrard has not been appointed England captain so far, because Capello plans to rotate Lamps/Stevie G? :tellme:
