The FA cup Final approaches...and my cable waala cuts off Star Sports .
Anyways, want Portsmouth to win, only to watch them in the UEFA cup next season. Cardiff would be misfits there. But there have alrady been lots of David kills Goliath in this tornament. Let's see what transpires here as both the teams look for their second FA cup titles.

At halftime
Por 1 Cardiff 0
Kanu scores a scratchy goal after missing an oppurtunity earlier.
This was bound to happen, especially with the Cardiff 'keeper acting strange, punching balls that could be held on to.
Kanu no wonder he is the silent assassin.
where are the answers to the quiz

Portsmouth have won the FA cup, beating Cardiff City 1-0. They have also ensured their place in next season's UEFA cup. Kanu scored the goal for Pompey, just like the semi-final. This is the second FA cup title for Pompey. Well done to them, they conceded only one goal in the entire tournament. Congrats!!

Dude, keep posting one every week. But not on weekends. this thread is dead on weekends. Also, try making it general. I saw it an hour back but dont know much about Pele. But it was a nice quiz and it would be an honour to attempt your quiz next time round
It's a marathon, not a sprint. Unless you're Man Utd, in which case you let the other teams get ahead and then start sprinting as they all fall apart.

Great read. Go through. Somewhat confusing though. You would need good DI skills to figure it out:

Re: Football Club -

Nothing to do at 3am after exams are over...so i decide to make my la liga team of the year[I'll be completing my EPL team too...adding a DM...but since all the teams are so similar i feel a bit lazy repeating others ]
Formation : 4-1-2-1-2
Goalkeeper : Casillas (Real Madrid)
Any doubts, no?....thank you
Right back : Sergio Ramos(Real Madrid)
He has fulfilled a lot of expectations of him & justified hi price tag this season after being restored to right back.Disciplinary record notwithstanding, he clearly has overtaken daniel alves as the best RB of la liga
Center back : Garay(Racing Santander)
Racing have a goal difference of 0 this season...& have conceded just 41 goals & managed 6th position largely due to him.In a league with a dearth of top notch CB's he was one of best this season.
Center Back : Godin (Villareal)
2nd position in the league having the 6th best scoring record shows that you have a good defense. He just edges out ahead of his partner rodriguez though.
Left back : capdevilla (villareal)
If you've played FIFA...you know when it comes to transferring LB's ..there are hardly a few available choices. He was the best LB by a mile this season.
Right Midfielder : Robinho (Real Madrid)
Having scored 11 goals & many assists...he takes this position ahead of my favorite, Messi(whos injuries made him lose this position).Robinho's still not pele, but after the departure of beckham he has reduced the blow for madrid a bit.
Defensive Midfielder : Marcos Senna (villareal)
He has been a great player for villareal this season. Not just good at defending...hes a good passer too, & might help spain's cause a lot this euro if he keeps up his form.
Attacking Midfielder : Andres Iniesta (Barcelona)
The brightest point in barcelona's dismal season. He has slowly emerged from the shadows of barca's stars & everyone acknowledges him now as one of the best young talent of spain. He can do everything, including defending & playing at the left front of a 4-3-3.
Left Midfielder : Sneijder(Real Madrid)
The best buy this season for Madrid. With lack of a lot options at the left of midfield he had shown a lot of promise, & if Robben can string 15 games at a stretch, along with robinho they'll be a terror next season
Forward : Raul (Real Madrid)[Captain]
After being written off by even die hard madrid fans(which was unthinkable at one time)Raul has come back this season & done a Beckham, making everyone eat their words. His being left out of spain's squad being treated with shock says it all
Forward : Daniel Guiza (Mallorca)
The pichichi of the season, coming from a squad apart from Madrid & Barca is enough to merit a place in my team.(even etoo didnt manage it ,if i remember correctly)
Substitutes
1)Kameni
2)Rodriguez
3)Pepe
4)Messi
5)Toure
6)Fabiano
7)Aguero
Team Dynamics : This squad can play a host of formations ,which is its strength, the bench has enough in it to turn a match, & the team consists of enough defensive steel to hold up any attack, even though casillas manages in half that cover .
One can think of how this team will hold up against the best of EPL.In my opinion, if Messi is fully fit, they can give any team a run for their money.
Opinions??....
