Your veiled reference ONCE AGAIN to my "favourite footballer being a European" got to me. I'm angry and I hope you are satisfied that you riled me.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion on football and everyone has a right to have a favourite footballer. Neither do I expect anyone to change my opinion, nor do I expcet to change anyone else's opinion. Sure, we all trash each other's choices, but that's part of sports passion. I don't call anyone a racist or a fundamentalist on the basis of whom they like or dislike.

And yeah, let me tell you again, don't give me gas about "this is not passion" and blah and blah and more blah. Arse-hole-nil are not on top this year, but that does not mean Wayne is not supporting them. ManU did not win last year. That does not mean I stopped supporting them. YOU, on the other hand switched loyalties as soon as you saw who was winning. THAT is pseudoism. It's not passion. You don't qualify as a fan.....if all people were like you, Bradford City, West Ham and others like them would have NO fans...yet they have some of the most passionate, lifelong supporters.....THAT is a true fan. THAT is passion. THAT is football.....

Mike

PS: I hate having to make such a post....but to be honest, I did not like the insinuations being made against some of us. It's almost a case of saying, "If you don't have a coloured player as your fave, you are a racist.." I hope I have made my point....and Surya, go back to the time this began....YOU were the one who launched into a vitriolic, expletive-emoticon laced personal attack. I detest having to make this post personal, but I really do think you are the one who's started this again.
Mukund,

you better look at our old posts and then comment...
I never attacked any one on this thread or made any personal remarks...

I was keeping to my self and tired of your profane and indecent comments I kept myself away from this thread.
You intentionally made a personal remark and I had to step in.
I had to tell you what I thought of your comments about coloured players. It was my opinion and not judgemental.

About switching loyalties...Yes I was a ManU fan for sometime ...that also was for a short time when they used to play like professionals...
I liked them when there were Becks, giggs( still one of the players Il like), Solskjar ( I like this guy too)...you remember that 1998/1999 FA cup semi final match they won in the extra time with a fantastic Giggs' goal. I was a fan during those times...

Slowly their style changed with some new signings and somehow I felt bad. Mind you...it was my feeling.

At that time Arsenal had only Begkamp and Viera. Withsome new signings they improved their style and I started liking their style.

If your logic of me supporting the winning side is correct...I had to come back to ManU because they won the championship again in 2002/2003 season. But I remained arsenal fan and will remain one till they dont change their style.

Buddy, I felt bad at your profane remarks because you were one of the early PG junta I used to interact with other than Freako, vinayak....

If someone else had made those remarks...I would have simply kept quiet because it wouldnt matter to me.

anyawy it doesnt matter now....

please realise that I am not a born football fan...I grew upto be one...I still like CrN, Giggs, Solskjar and RvN...I never called names of them because they play for ManU...I dont like ManU anymore but I still respect them for their greatness.....period.

I hate to explain such things...but your wisecrack of pseudo football fans' and all needs some explanation......

I am just debating the line that.... Ole shoud have been given an extended run... Teddy and him together were magic.... He sold Yorke-Cole and did not sign any strikers only b'coz of Ole...

If he can give an extended run to guys like Forlan ... He should have persisted with Ole more often... Somehow Ole was always had this notion attached to him that he was a super-sub...

In terms of quality he could have made other strikers wet their pants...
I think its credit to his ability that this is his 10 year at Old Trafford...

Lets see if Ruud can manage that....

But as the rumours currently stand he might be a make weight for Fernando Torres...

Also, News just in.....

Manchester United are concerned Chelsea are eyeing their wing ace Cristiano Ronaldo.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho has told chief executive Peter Kenyon and owner Roman Abramovich he wants them to break the bank to sign and pay Ronaldo - and United know about the move.
Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes is the man who brought Mourinho to Chelsea from Porto.
He believes he would earn a bumper £70,000 a week at Chelsea.

But knowing Mourinho, this might well be a smoke screen and NIHAT could be a Chelsea player at the end of the season....

Nihat... remember this name... (90% sure)

chelsea whold have been all profit this year itself had it not been for the major transfer blunders like makelele, geremi, parker, crespo, mutu and veron which cost the club around 100 million pounds all thanks to that chump claudio...

but the good thing is that what ever spending had to be done is done and now it will be just a player or so every transfer window to keep the competition for places going.

now the club will start cranking up the profits.....

but yes the huge debt means that the club will still be dependent on the russian mafia money for another 10 years

although i personally hate the site of both jose and roman...

they have just killed the passion that chelsea used to stand for
the current bunch of players(leaving out terry and lampard) and the manager him self are a bunch of mercinaries who will even sign for a team from mars if the money were good

but i'll still be satisfied if the get some pieces of silverware to starved fans like me.

dont need anyone against newc just lampard tiago and duffy r enough

but yeah the chances against barca at camp nou r slim considering that guily is also back in probably the most exciting attack in europe
but maybe if the defence holds out over there then barca wont survive at the bridge

but a tempting fixture fixture the best defence against the most exciting attack.

yeah ronaldo maybe 4-5 years from now... would be the best of the best in the world.

nihat could be a good buy (espicially if soceidad r relegated this season) he is something like a cheap sheva clone.

im not too convinced of the abilities of both gudjonsen and drogba....
jose should have got eto'o instead of drogba if he was so keen to play a non-EU player

and gedjonsen for me is highly over-rated
he should be beanch strength at a club like chelsea nothing more than that...
i feel even forssel is better than him.

Ronaldo... is portugese... liked by Mourinho... but i doubt he will buy him...

Also, Roman has asked AC Milan chief, the price for KAKA... .

But considering JM's fascination for unknown players... I bet he will go for Nihat...

Mirror is reporting that Roman has made a bit for Tevez.... but how wiil he figure in the lineup.. I have no Idea...

KAKA is not required aslong as lampard is in , they r too similar

also i dont see any need for GERRARD again too similar

Tevez is way more attacking player that the above three
he is the second Ronaldinho. so he should fit in well

but again provided the defensive mentality of JM
i doubt that majorly..

no gerard or kaka can play alongside lampard with makelele behind them and robben ahead of them in a diamond formation as they play now with 2 strikers. tiago is a waste...i doubt JM will sustain him for the next season. Parker unlucky, good player, didnt find place in this team...its time for him also to move on. gerrard will surely leave if LP fail to qualify for CL
tevez can come on as substitute for robben in the 2nd half . so he would also be a good signing.
