Some team news for the Man Utd-WHU game...SAF has ruled out the possibility of Vidic playing in this one although he looks good for the Wigan game next week...Rooney mite come on as a substitute...his hip injury still bothering him:(...However Evra looks all set for the clash against the Hammers...Its gonna be a good game but i reckon we'll win this one quite comfortably
As for the transfer scenario, there are claims that we've bid for Jose Bosingwa, the right back from Portugal....and that Utd are interested in Dean Ashton...Hmmm,Ashton's good but i'd rather see Berbatov at OT than him

Now some HOT HOT Transfer gossip
ESPNsoccernet - Europe - AC Milan's Gattuso wants to play in England
though no one is linked, and ancelloti has denied selling him at any point as he is too crucial... I wish he could have been in the market two years back... I am sure United Hooligans would have put glazers at the point to sign the check to buy him... united fans absolutely admire gattutso...
Ringhio is what he is called and its so truly fits his character... I remember him smacking beckham when england played italy and beckham might have peed in his shorts.. LMAO..
Ciao

lol...he wud be a fantastic buy.....but you'll already have carrick, hargreaves and fletcher in holding mid-fielder roles...so no need of Gattuso...ne wud do well for arsenal...they seriously need a holding midfielder..!!!
Hmm...maybe even Spurs...only if Spurs cud defend, they would have challenged Liverpool for the 4th spot..!!!

I'd prefer Ashton more than berbatov... Reason is simple i'd prefer a fighter like ashton in united than a moody or sulky character like berbatov...
berba may have better height and better skills but the question is can we count on him when things are going horribly wrong in the match???... another major question - will he be happy coming off the bench???...
To both these questions my answer is - "I don't think so"...
I was thinking about how people seem to read the holy books a whole lot more as they get older; then it dawned on me . .
they're cramming for their final exam...

Quite the contrary, midnight... I wouold have Berbatov on my list after Huntelaar and Gomez. but above Ashton. simple coz CLASS is permanent. Berba has a god like first touch and is an amazing goal scorer. but drops too deep for my liking.
A person wiht an attitude problem, who joined United and became a GOD???? ummm I wonder... Cantona of course. SAF can straighten even the worst.

Was surfing wiki, and came across this link.
It's presumably the greatest game of the century..
Hadn't heard of this before. Check it out:
Italy 4-3 West Germany (1970) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
P.S.: Nirmal Bhai, sorry..since yesterday, my spelling has gone a little astray..it is indeed Adu.
P.P.S.: Where is Ego guys, he's been missing in action for way too long now. Any ideas?

After my last post yesterday...raijkaard goes out & makes a mockery of it
ESPNsoccernet - Europe - Rijkaard says he won't quit Barcelona
among the players mentioned to be leaving are gudjohnson(pardon the spelling) & dos santos, who I think will be needed by barca a lot...
gudjohnson has always been underrated according to me, & why would anyone want to sell a promising young player like dos santos...
regarding gattuso...the only team that looks like buying him are arsenal for me...for one..hes a bit old, plus, united have hargo, liverpool have mscherano...& chelsea have essien, makelele & mikel who'll be the regulars for the position...
& i think arsene can look at gattuso for that position, in case flamini leaves for juve....moreover arsenal will benefit immensely from gattuso...they need an experienced head in the middle of the park...& gattuso can fill in viera's shoes....
me hoping kaka realizes this as well & we get to see him every week on the tele

Dos Santos is not really needed by Barca. They have an established but young midfield in Iniesta, Xavi and Messi. And there is of course Bojan to come on who is very young too. Dos Santos is a good player but he thinks he is as good as Messi which he isn't. And has a big head for himself.
Gattuso may still go to MU. I know Fergie is a fan of him. Arsenal may not be able to afford him.
As for Kaka, I hope he doesn't move to EPL. He would be better suited to Liga in case he has to move.

Some more transfers stuff...this one on Gareth Barry ( Gaz Baz )...says how none of the top 4 clubs may actually need him...!!
ESPNsoccernet - England - Hubbard: Gaz Baz in demand
As for some Liverpool news, both Torres ( yes he needs 2 more goals..!!) and Skrtel are back in training and fit for selection against Man City...!!
Harry Kewell, too, is back in training...it would be intriguing to see if Rafa offers him an extension...else he goes as a free agent ( maybe headed for the MLS..!!)

Kaka's entire set of skills just won't suit the premiership. He likes to think with the ball at his feet than play quick. He would take time to adapta nd if he does would become a younger Scholes.
SAF is a huge Gattuso fan. And now with Hargreaves being played RB, Fergie maybe tempted to go for him. That SRK like steel. I wouldn't take him. Only coz im a huge fan of Carrick's and I think he deserves to carry on.
Dos Santos does have a few issues in his head. I read that too. But don't you think being put on the bench and not being played at all may have put him on earth. Barca as a club seem tired of his antics. He is a talent for sure but to just not negotiate a contract and telling him he can go sounds odd.
