the match of the season in BPL.... it surely lived up to the hype...

i hv no doubts tht chelsea deserved to win it... mayb the way v won it (the penalty) was questionable, but v completly dominated the match except for some nervy moments in the end...

chelsea rose to the occasion.. united looked ragged to say the least in the 1st half...
wht was heartening to c tht almost all the chelsea players played their hearts out... it wasnt som individual brilliance but a total team effort....
this wil giv us immense confidence and lift against liverpool and at the same time united wud b down... thy knw thy cud hv done better (atleast in the 1st half)... i dont think the league's ovr...

this justifies what I have felt & said for a long time...ballack should have played regularly this season...(chelsea wont miss lampard a lot if he leaves next season...lets see what chelsea fans have to say about this )

while chelsea are against newcastle(away) & bolton(home)

though chelsea have slightly trickier games...this win will give them a massive boost...while United still have half a mind on UCL...

united didn't deserve to lose...
and as it has happened so many times with all the clubs its united times to face a poor decision....
what a dubious penalty....what was linesman expecting???? to jump with his hands glued to his side???
and if this was penalty where was the linesman/ref when ballack was hugging ronaldo inside the box when united took a penalty????? that should also be a penalty.....
agreed chelsea had greater possession (same as barca) but wht did they do with it????i am pretty sure if we look at the stats the number of on target shots we will find there will not be a difference, plus united had two chances cleared of line....
now something about performance of united....
poor team selection .....i think Ferguson thought they have to win UCL this season and forgot about EPL.....fletcher was brilliant today...
i am most disappointed by Nani..so many times he could have just played the ball but he kept the possession and then lost the ball...
