Yellow card eh ...
Well nice to see the Madrid fans talk about bringing Capello as their manager being just a matter of personality clashes between him and Perez .....
And good to see the a particular fan commenting on the speculation about the players Capello might want to bring to Madrid as a pre condition to join as the Manager there ...
certainly makes for interesting reading !!
As they say , the best cure for depression is fantasy
I Agree with MvB ACMNo9 ......Milan need to do some dramatic ...if necessary sack Carlo
To have another season dominated by Juve would be a sad advert for Serie A
Cheers!

Hey Peshwa aka the funniest guy posting on this thread..
The Capello move is not completely ruled out. He even came about saying that "Managing United will be his dream come true". What ya guys feeding him at Turin ?
And yeah, who do you think will win the WC ? A mere formality for the Azzurri ?

Now , lemme get a few things off my chest :
1) I completely dislike Chel$ki , I mean give Southampton 300 million $ and they will win the epl.
So, whats gr8 abt. a club who r being breast-fed by a filthy rich Russian.
Quote:
Ballack rocks.
Alongwith Lampard, he is the best mf in the world today, according to me."
apr!!
wonder wat happ to ronaldinho(undoubtedly da best mf) n gerrard(who inspired pool to win ucl)
|
Now , Barca play a 4-3-3 system , and Ronaldinho most often ends up playing upfront with Eto and Messi/Larsson. Besides he isn't a complete mf, coz. a good mf is also supposed to help out the defence if need be.
Generally speaking , Gaucho Is the best creative player today.
Now , I diidn't think much of Lampard Either ; but he made me change my mind in last yrs Champions League QF against Bayern Munich[my favourite team].
He controlled the game totally and scored 2 gr8 goals from distance off either foot. If it wasn't for him , Bayern wud 've easily won that tie.
Speaking of Stevie G, he is very dynamic and a leader ; but he ain't as multi -talented as Ballack and Lampard [ 2 ppl who are at ease shooting off both feet , which is a rarity ]Infact Ballack's left foot shots makes u wonder whether he is rt. - foted in the first place.
3 clubs i love seeing lose :
Man. [who ?] ; Real ; Chels$ki.
3 clubs I love :
Arsenal , Bayern , Barca.

It'll be a huge gamble and it's anybody's guess how he and Perez would get along...or if they would for that matter.

Ya , If capello comes in he is bound to bid a couple of world class defensive midfielders. emerson could be a certainity. It was "rumoured" that he had given a list to Perez but in all probability that was baseless. Although, if Capello comes in he is estimated to get around a whopping $100mn to rebuild the squad. Its rumored that Perez has around $160 mn to shell out next season.

I definitely see a change of guard though. I still think that Berlusconi is waiting to see how Holland fare at the WC. Wouldn't it be just awesome if the favourite son of Milan won the WC as coach and then returned to his old club and took up the managerial reins? I do think it's a dicey game to play though as it really won't leave too much time for the new manager to get in the players he wants in the transfer window...

Sacking Ancelotti is a certainity.
I am sticking my neck out, The next manager of Milan will be Frank Rijkaard. Picture this, while getting a contract extension recently, he got a clause inserted in his contract which stated that he could depart Barca only if an offer arrives from 1 particular club... and the club is Milan. Rijkaard wll jump at the chance to coach Milan because he loves the club and is worshipped there, despite the fact that Barca are doing so well.
The only other competitor to his post is of course Marco van Basten but with his association with the Dutch NT and their dramatic turnaround it looks highly unlikely that Basten will come to the club.

Who doesnt have the slightest clue about Liga is apparent from the fact that you are combinig results from the Spanish cup as La Liga.
|
*Sigh*. OK, this is the last time. My post did not mention 7 league wins. It was simply, "Real have now won 7 on the trot". Anyway, I'm not going to bother with further silly posts from you on this issue.
@Peshwa: Yes, it is actually interesting reading all that news on Capello. It's more interesting because with Italian clubs, it is no surprise to see players and managers moving to arch rivals even! There are tons of players and managers who have moved between Inter and AC and Juve...
Also, when the Capello rumour first surfaced, it was not quashed at all. Whilst Moggi dismissed it saying that Capello would not leave, Capello himself stated that "coaching Manchester United would be a dream come true" and on another occasion stated point-blank that his contract enables him to leave in the summer...that's where the stories start and let's face it, I must give it to Juve, they do have the best club manager in Europe at the moment...bar none.
About AC Milan, yes, I too feel that selling Sheva may not be a bad move. He's not getting any younger and with the buyer being Chav$ki, the price they are being offered is excellent. The aim is to bring in a whole new defence and everyone knows that they really need that. Just who will come in is still not known and in a large part that is because of the managerial situation. I think even Ancelotti knows that barring the sudden demise of every single manager in the world of football, there is no way he is going to keep his job beyond the summer. His statement, "I will continue my job even if they are going to sack me in the summer" speaks volumes for his resignation to Fate. I don't see any moves until the managerial situation is clearer...
More on Real though. They may sell Guti to Inter...at least that is what Inter are hoping. Their hope is to ask Real for Guti and as part of the bargain to back out of the Ballack saga. Of course, that is similar to the rumours that surrounded a similar deal between ManU and Real a couple of seasons back which was proved to be balderdash (courtesy Chav$ki taking Robben), but this should be very interesting to watch...although I don't think Real should sell Guti...

Which deal are you referring to??
Also, of course Real shouldnt sell Guti! He along with Zidane are the only 2 players performing in recent games.

The figure quoted was actually 100 mn pounds...which is approximately USD160 mn...that is exactly the reason that the Capello rumours are so strong. The list news emerged (Yes, emerson was on it as I am sure you too must have read...one of the 6 names mentioned in the news reports)...and immediately after that, the figures emerged regarding the transfer kitty.

Actually, I think it is the turnabout at the NT that will see van Basten being offered the job. Rijkaard of course, is always in the picture...the point is just that Berlusconi has stated openly on four or five occasions that he would love to see MvB coach Milan "particularly after how well he has done with the Dutch national team". All said and done, I think Rijkaard would be a better bet at the moment...but I know for sure that MvB will definitely coach Milan sometime in his career...it is destiny...

Referring to the time that it was rumoured that Real would back off bidding for Robben and allow ManU to take him, provided that they be alerted on the Ronaldo situation...this was prior to Chav$ki sneaking home with all the money...
And yes, I too am dead against selling Guti...but then I was also against selling Figo...and we all know how many times Perez does what we want and think is better...
