Hey I'm Proud 2day!! - 06-11-2005, 11:54 PM

trust me fellow 4ever reds, the real hero of 2daz momentous victory is fergie..i remember writin on this thread some 2 weeks earlier that i ve complete faith in him..blve me,'m sure it was his evergreen tactic of backing his own players when evryone else blast them that worked 4 2daz changed body language of the team..

man alan smith..when ve i last seen him so committed since puttin on the red shirt?was like seeing him in his leeds days when they made the champs league semis.. nd ronaldo,uff.. nd ferdinand, finally some commitment shown 4 da 100,000pounds per week..
but my pick 4 da day was van der sar..cm'on,i mean he has been the best buy in the epl 4 any club this season..uff,dat save of lampard!!
nd rooney..oh yeah, guess he can be a better servant of man utd than becks sme day..
fletcher was not really the hero 2day,he was the culmination of the total team effort, man, did we put the horror week behind?!!
 p.s.wayne nd fellow arsonal mates, what 're the league standings??plz??nd i guess u ppl ve learnt dat u need 2 rejoice aftr beatin the league leaders, that too aftr 40 odd matches, insted of going cock-a-hoop aftr beating the rock bottom team in the league? it's still not 2 late, mates, learn 2 respect the greatest team that has ever played in the epl..we don't need RA's millions, neither a henry..but hey,i'm proud 2day..
cheers 2 all the reds on this thread..
alekhya.

Amazing win for ManU!!

This is why ManU is best in EPL. Everything was going against them till last week and today they were awesome. Great going, keep it up.

Last week Keane said that players like Fletcher,Smith, Shea etc are not capable enough to play for ManU and Fletcher's goal was the one which brought end to the Chelsea's unbeaten run. (But i personally believe Fletcher is not worth his salt and at the same time i am happy for ManU)

Once again cheers to Ferguson and the company

Adios

Re: Football Club - 07-11-2005, 12:33 AM

They say the difference between dreams and accomplishments is purely desire.

The Theatre of dreams..........home of the Red Devils saw yet another momentous win. History repeated. Chel$ki with their undefeated run go back the losers....the better for the experience.

The fergie 'hair-dryer' is back in good shape and boy we missed it. The boys showed the desire, the result was there for them and all to see. We need to take this from here on and with the first team regulars joining in, it should only get better. This could just prove to be the turning point.

Hopefully this should put to rest the dud rants of all the pseudo footie fans in here (read Chel$ki fans) and arse-in-hole fans in particular.

Wayne, the team you support is one among the best, stylish and top rung classy when they play against the bottom 3 ya worse, but when it comes to displaying the same verve with the big boys.....the croppers in the team rise head and shoulders above the rest to ensure they are counted. Darn, still can't swallow your rants about your team winning last week's match.

Hopefully, what we saw today was just the beginning. With the promised purchases in Jan, let's hope the fight is alive.

Re: Football Club - 07-11-2005, 01:41 AM

Hmmm...as I predicted, Fergoe fielded the 11 I said he would...and they did go on and win. Cheers to the win!!!!

It does prove one thing. Never, EVER write off the Red Devils. NO team will ever be able to claim that they can dominate the Red Devils and when they speak of "unbeaten crap" and "invincible", they aren't counting the Red Devils...

But as I cautioned, the euphoria of this win should not make the powere-that-be sweep the problems under the carpet. The midfield needs additions and I hope they are good ones...not like Djemba*2...

The positives? Well, as I said, Smith once again showed that when it comes to commitment, he is second to none and is a ball-winner. Rooney...well, what can one say? Pure class, as is Cristiano Ronaldo. Rio had a good day too, but really, he needs to show this form and commitment every match...

Ultimately, I just hope we kick on from here and get to where we can. But please Fergie, just forget the goal and drop Fletcher. One swallow does not an English summer make...after all, Forlan and Bellion have also scored goas at some point in time or the other...

Cheers!
- M

PS: Arses, please note. You've played Chel$ki twice and lost both...we don't need second chances...we are that damn good!!! Errr...where are the Chel$ki fans BTW? Ahhh...as expected, like the Arses last year, they've gone into hiding...we'll prolly see them for a couple of days before we thrash them at Stamford Bridge...and then...good-bye...

First things first.....

Congo to all MU fans, for winning the game. It was a great game and one that could have gone either way, but i guess the devils red butt was on the line so they showed some extra commitment and took the game.

Next up Double congo to @Zero_in_on_me, for Everton winning their game.
